Happy birthday Eshlow. Want to take this opportunity to thank everyone here for being so damn awesome and inspiring me to start lifting. Took a waitress (I left my number on the back of a receipt lolol check my TL blog if you want details or whatever) out on a date and to see TDKR and it was sick awesome. She was holding my upper arms the entire time I was like yeeeeee (Even though I haven't done anything other than bench/OHP/pullups/dips). Ahhhhhhhh... I'm turning into a social butterfly or some shit. Or a dragon. Social dragons are cooler than butterflies right? :D

Second tournament game of the season coming up tonight (ultimate). As much as I love playing, I am craving the fall where I can focus on a set routine of weightlifting without interruptions since I have a knack for injuring myself playing hard

I just spent my birthday in clinic jet lagged which was brutal. Soo tired just wanna go to sleep.

There were actually a couple more sets of back of squats and auxiliarys i didn't even have time for T_T

190x4 was fucking beast mode though. barely hit the 180x2 and 190x2 then i just went ape shit on the last set. barely missed the 5th rep. 190 is 95% of my 1rm and 2xbw and i smashed it for 4 reps...feelsgoodman

I've noticed that if I don't take fish oil pills I have some annoying/acute pain in my knees. Should I be worried? Also, I've been doing consistent strength training since October, except for a couple weeks where I had to rest due to sciatica. Considering my knee pain, will it help if I increase the volume and lower the weight for 2 weeks or something like that?

Only if you run out of fish oil? lol

Technique has more affect on aggravating your body than weight/reps IMO
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

Ok folks lifting question time. I'm able to maintain my form for the first set and almost entirely through second set, but third set it fails me and it isn't my legs failing out it's my back. If I start doing squats on my in between days at high reps, very low weight (like 135) will this help me out do you think? Or should I just deload to something low like 185 and work back up? I hate injuries :< Never, NEVER had form issues and now that I'm "ok" my back just isn't the same. Thought the issue would go away but it hasn't. Just deload a lot and work back up? Issue occurs when I do sets past 205 squat (lbs... T_T)

Edit: After typing this out the question feels really stupid. I'm just desperate to get my progress back I think the best option would probably be to just deload to 185 and then work back up. Patience............

10x 100kg
6x 140kg
5x 180kg

And some shoulderpress with hantler 30kg 5reps 3sets.
