Pulled 200kg deadlift today, felt good and I don't really have any motivation for another max week so I just put on 210 and went for it. Got it like 1cm off the floor and then it didn't move^^.

Anyway, happy I broke 200kg, going back to PHAT for a while now and then I'll probably run CP again before the end of the year, aiming for like 220-230kg.
I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.

i thought so too until i tried the "walk/run" style where you only run until you start to get annoyed/worn out (like 2-3 minutes) and then you walk for 30 seconds and chill out. makes it a WHOLE different barrel of pears.

having these 3-4 things that you are achieving at (however minute) makes SUUUCH a huge difference to having just 1 thing, because if you fuck up at one (like i am with gym atm) then the others really keep you going. i quit smoking for 2 days then smoked for 2 days and now maybe i will be able to quit again today because i have a stronger base to me now :D

tonight? guitar, stretching, switch off. tomorrow: gym, see course lady, dont smoke, stretch, guitar, tidy room a bit. and then tuesday i will wake up feeling as amazing as i ever have ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! except i will be mindfucked from not smoking LOL anyway

You see these attention-deficit people running all over the place achieving all sorts of shit while you're sitting in front of your computer and you feel somehow inadequate. I wanna learn how to play the guitar, I wanna program a successful iPhone app, I wanna reach Masters in SC2.

I am making some progress though. Last night I was out at a club and I saw a girl I wanted. Cute asian girl, short skirt, I knew I wanted to get to know her. Usually I'd just make a longing grimace and watch her from the shadows, bitterly and contemplatively, but this time I actually made a move and went over to her and started dancing. Turns out either I have the face of a ghoul or maybe she was just xenophobic because the second she locked eyes with me she grabbed a hold of her friend and squealed, trying to get away.

Another blow to my self-esteem. No, not really to be honest, my self-confidence is higher than it's ever been, I'm actually proud of how little her rejection affected me. That, I think, is alpha.

I hate these fucking holidays, really. Well I used to love them when I was living on a normal schedule, but now that my only obligations are studying and working from home, I hate them. In Brazil we have a shitload of holidays and the gym closes on every single one of them. There were like 4 weeks out of the 12~~ we had this year where the gym was closed for four days. I want to go 3x a week for several consecutive weeks, goddamnit!

Just got back from a nashville rugby tournament. All we did was drink beer and win rugby games...Literally had a moment where two bigass dudes went to tackle me, trucked both of them, and then passed off for the easy score. Phenomenal weekend. It's crazy how much more athletic i feel from olympic lifting, i was just cutting all day around people. Scored three tries in one game. Teams get pissed when you joke around with them for hours and drink with them at the bars and then they start to take shit seriously and you keep joking around and still shit on them. Oh well.

Calves man... Ugh it's such a weird stupid muscle, you can't do 6 reps of anything because it starts to cramp for me, you have to do so many reps, even the slightest momentum makes it a lot easier, I don't feel tired after it... Another jesus fking awful workout. I should be setting 5 PR's per week but I set two-three crappy ones atm. Going to deload and start eating pb sandwiches again. Next cycle of Madcows I'm hitting 160kg 1x5 on DL. Think of doing some cycling as well, I have this sweet racing bike and the weather is starting to become more and more like summer

So the challenge for me is, how can I satisfy this need, while minimizing calori intake? I know I am asking for a lot, but there are so many smart experienced people in here, that I still think its worth a shot. Not much calori in Coca cola is it? I could try with just getting my sugar need from there.

One solution that certainly help, but has little to do with food, is depleting my storage for energy (dropping lots of carbs and incoroparting lots of cardio 4 days in a row), and it wont affect my weight loss that much, but its some very tough days. Most of the energy intake on that HIGH day, will not go to fat.

solution: dont buy bad food with ton of sugar so you cant eat it! prepare some steaks beforehand and eat those

I did some good squats yesterday really pushing myself and managed 60kg so might have to up my goal to like 100 kg haha. I made an agreement with my gf to do one class a week with her if she signed up to the same gym as me and she signed up last week. Go with her to 'bodypump' first class ever...first exercise squats many many squats I could feel my quads screaming at me. Felt good but god damn did I hurt. They do a full body workout with light weights high repetitions. I'll be back next week but I was hurting so much for that hr.

Really would like to try and get a PR for amount of chins/pullups/weighted, but if i do them at the start of the workout, ill be totally shite for the rest. Bah!
What's a resonable amount of reps to do? 3x5? Or is it just how many you can manage?
