Overhead-Press: 71kg x 7 (ok) Bench Press: 103,5 x 9 (good) Bent-Over Row: 85kg x 10 (ok) Squat: 157,5kg x 8 (ok) Deadlift: 178,5 x 9 (good)
Compared to last week, all lifts besides the Deadlift were pretty much on the same level. Deadlifts were way better than last week (last week 168,5x9, this week 178,5x9).

Posted. Grabbed a camera from a friend to take pics, since mine is at home. No excuses. My only regret is that saturday is my second rest day in a row (thursday/sunday lifting) so I have NO pump going on whatsoever =p.
First time working out in 2.5 weeks... I've gotten weaker I was testing out my 1RM today since I didn't know how much weaker I've gotten. Got 265 for squats and 195 for bench which isn't horrible I suppose. On the plus side, I started learning how to do power cleans. A friend of mine got me started by doing hang cleans. Got up to 135lb but my hands are super sore.

Did you at least bomb yourself with vitamin D?
i ate something which made me throw up, i think it was my moms stew.
Hmm, I have always been interested in the olympic lifts and once in a while I decide to do some power cleaning. I really want to do more of it but I do not have the correct equipment. I can't drop the bar (no bumperplates and floor can't handle it).
Watching these videos of Dimas makes me want to clean SO bad : (((((((((((
heres one. You can drop it slower too. Just drop it to your thighs first, then lower it like a deadlift.
Thanks a lot! And sucks to hear about you being sick at a competition, I am sure you will smash everything at your next competition.
Been having knee problems so have been RICE'ing my left knee for a week now. Can't wait to start squatting again! While I haven't been squatting I have been working on my flexibility. After a week of stretching for long periods of time every day I feel really flexible, especially my hams and hip flexors have gotten a lot better
If anyone wants to become more flexible I would suggest you to the book Relax Into Stretching by Pavel Tsatsouline!

Isn't that something where you can hurt your back with bigger weights, or is there some very safe way to do it like that?
If it's a weight that you, as a complete noob to power cleans are able to get up to your shoulders, it's probably a weight that you are able to lower safely. I wouldn't worry about it.

The video where rip kicks the monkey?
is not the monkey video, but still a decent video about power cleans. also not the monkey video - this one is about the triple extension/shoulder pull and hips.
I wouldnt watch rippletoes videos on power cleans. I also wouldnt worry about triple extension, nobody outside of the usa actually focuses on triple extension.
