You are pulling "through" your lower back, while it should be "through" the hips. Not the best vid but prolly gives you some idea. + Show Spoiler + The belt looked it was quite loose and/or didn't help you keep your lower back tight enough. It may be my imagination though.

Just saying bro. I've started doing HIIT, Cutting shit, stopped bulking, eating healthy, and I'm getting "leaner" at a steady 79kg. WHAT IS UP! :D Been doing a lot of ass-to-grass squat, 108kg (3x5) on Monday, I won't be hitting the gym today since it's the SuperCup of Spain (clasico yay go Barça!) and well, time to enjoy some time with friends and stuff. ![]() I'm getting huge guys! :D Been doing a lot of PowerClean and Jerk, up to 80kg. That one felt a bit heavy, but I did it, and felt awesome :D Other than that, I can't wait for thursday so I can hit the gym and do some Front Squats :D 92kg perhaps? :D PRPRPRPR

) and hit the gym, then back out to the lake for tomorrow and some of friday. Kayaking, fishing, swimming, fresh air... can't beat it! I want to front squat today, but at the same time I really feel like I need to make progress on my back squat or i'm never going to bust 100kg again. Probably having a sleep study done sometime in the next month... since I've been home, my family has told me several times that while I sleep, I make the same choking and weezing noises that my father does. My father's been wearing a mask for his sleep apnea for three years now. Maybe this will explain why im so tired all the time, since it's clearly not a problem with sleeping pattern or duration. Dad revealed to me he bought a cow 300 pounds of grass-fed beef starting this winter, for only 400 bucks. I suggest all of you saying Paleo is expensive look into similar things at local farms. Can't beat steak at 1.30/ pound!

From my experience, most of the time it comes down to "we need these people to eat SOMETHING." Clearly they don't have the best diet to begin with - the diabetes, obesity, and kidney and heart disease levels are ridiculous. When you're sick and confined to a bed you're going to have a further reduced appetite, and hospitals aren't rich to the point they can let food go to waste. So its "we'll get this sugary fruity yogurt rather than plain full fat yogurt, because it's still better than crackers and juice, and people might actually eat it." If I had ten dollars for every time i've been told "I don't like that" "I don't eat vegetables or fruit" or "i just drink pepsi" i'd be able to pay off my junior and senior years, as well as most of med school. I've only been shadowing three days a week for four weeks. The way some people look at food is just shocking to me - like it's a toy, or something you go out and do for fun.

Didn't eat well enough before training which I could definitely feel. My entire performance basically stands and falls on wether I eat before training when on leangains. I was hoping to finally go 50 kg bench, but that failed to reps and though this was just silly infront of everyone. Don't know why bench psyches me so much, could be technique as well. Need to get a video of me on friday. Still did 115 kg deadlift as planned. 70 kg squat was hard as hell. Man I hate being a weakass guy, I swear this girl near looking stronger than me by far. Good news is it seems like I'm losing weight in a healthy weight on 2k calorie/2,5k workout days. I need some of that beef phyre

re: poor food Remember, US subsidizes like $15 billion into corn, grains, etc. which makes all of the crappy processed foods you see in any supermarket, cafeteria, etc. really cheap so..... tons of junk that actually contributes to the problem.

After you have the form down, try benching more. Even if its just for a week or two, try benching every time you go to lift to let that form settle in and adapt to it. Mix up the sets/reps too. I've been stuck on my bench for months... just went through two weeks where I benched eight times, starting at 6x6 with a lighter weight progressing to 10x3 with a heavier one. Worked wonders, broke my plateau just by being used to the bench, made great form improvements, and it was great for my confidence under the bar too, considering those sets of three were heavier than what I had been stuck on before.

Today's workout felt awesome, I'm starting to learn the clean and jerk as well as the snatch with my body rather than the mind and it feels like I save so much energy without having to think about everything. Gotta squat much more though, got stuck in the hole for the first time after catching a clean =\

Iirc, sJarl is a med student in addition to being a superhero viking strongman. Talk to him. Heading into the gym right now. It will go well, I will squat a bigger number than last time. Or else. Edit: two sets into 90kg. Haven't worked like this in a while on a single exercise, but it feels good that i'm -able- to work this hard.

There was something wrong with my heart yesterday, maybe I took too much jack3d but my heart rate just wouldn't settle, it felt like my entire body was pulsing with my heart rate, I had just finished a set of 125kg squats but I was too afraid to go any heavier, it felt like doing squats immediately after going for a sprint, I was breathing heavily and sweating even while laying down. I figured I'd jump onto the leg press to finish up, I just kept adding 20kg plates on each side and it just wasn't getting any harder, I think I got to like 8-10 plates on each side, got off frustrated and went home, took maybe an hour for my heart rate to settle back down. By the way, I have never understood the elitism on this thread regarding exercise types, personally some of my favourite exercises are pull ups, Deadlifts and Squats, but I'd never tell anyone to "LOL squat or gtfo!" There is no reason at all to alienate people because for some reason or another they do not end up doing ss/sl. And it seems to be getting to the point where we're throwing our nose up at people would like to try something different with the attitude of "psh, fine do what you want" rather than actually give people advise on alternative methods of exercise. Efficiency aside. My initial indoctrination into working out involved pushups, pullups and running and that helped me achieve my goals just fine and even to this day I don't always enjoy the stresses placed on my body after walking out on a max squat or dl session, I'd rather wake up do some hiit circuit training instead. I know guys who will do a light workout and then go to a group fitness class because they just find that stuff enjoyable, and you know what each to his own. Regardless of my own ups and downs in life I've always been an advocate of any kind of exercise for the purpose of well being.
