If you've been eating mostly Paleo... and then you have a huge influx of processed food + gluten in the form of pizza + gluten sensitivity (~2/3 of population has this) = massive indigestion and gas I had pizza last week for the first time in like a very long time. It messed me up for 2 days, and my digestion had issues for a week. Swearing off pizza altogether. -_-

Smolov day 3 went well. 7 sets of 135kg x 5 Shoulders bugged me alot though. That was due to holding the bar too wide and hopefully that will be better tomorrow.

And then the one assistant really likes leg press. But he has me doing like 50 reps @ 90 pounds. And why leg press and not something else.... He's big, but really is the bicep curl sort of guy. My diet is screwed, as in because food is expensivwe in europe I didn't eat much, and where I did get calories it tended to be in dreaded chips. Now am back home, facing an empty fridge. Must find more food.

5 Yasso 800s, but I just crushed my goal time of 2:50. I think I did the first one in around 2:33 or 2:34. My slowest was 2:45 (fourth) and I finished with something like 2:39 or 2:40. (Exact times are uncertain since I have to run past the finish line at the track then double back and look at my timer.) I tested out the gels that will be offered by the race organizers (weird little Gu ones) on my last long run on Saturday, and it went pretty well. I like that they're designed to be eaten while running; it's super-easy to rip the top off and suck down the pate without breaking stride. I'm a little concerned that they only contain 100 calories each, but their website claims that's the precise amount an average metabolism can digest while working near aerobic threshold without impacting performance. Who knows; I'm just planning to consume two or three during the race. Just easy 8-12k jaunts between now and the race. I'm scouting the course tomorrow with my dad after work. I'll take Friday and Saturday off, eat a bunch of pasta and get lots of sleep. This is getting exciting. I get weirdly emotional now when I run. I'm not sure if it would be better to miss my qualifying time by a minute or 10, but I hope I don't have to find out.

Well, that's what I'd like to do. But with the physical therapists assigning their own program, and my parents making me stick to it, nothing less or nothing mroe...

Still an impressive weight. So jelly at the new dota2/lol forums. @Frodac: Add more if it is so easy. PT shouldn't be so mindnumbingly easy. SS could do you just fine. Also tell the PT's that you think their work easy and would like to increase the weight and reduce the reps. Doing 50+ reps is just stupid.

Technique needs some work, especially getting more ham and glute activation. Also that belt doesn't seem to do anything for you. You could also pull the bar more into you especially on the later stages of the lift. And just in general you could do with some stiff-legged deadlifts and good mornings ![]()
