325 x 5-3-1 Bent Rows 125 x 10-10-10 Incline DB Press 65 x 5-5-3 DB Flies 35 x 12-12-10 Seated Calves 110 x 15-14-12 Full Decline Sit up 50 lbs x 10-10-10 ---- Well, after getting up to 325 my grip is finally starting to slip. I didn't fail to get my reps due to muscular failure, but rather grip failure... The bent rows were easy, might just move up to 130 next time. On the DB Press, I messed up my form on the second set and basically pushed it through the wrong way, putting a lot of strain on my shoulder. So instead I just dropped it - I don't know if I could have done another one anyway. Might go back down to 50 and work my way back up depending on how I feel next week. Flies and seated calves were fine - calf work is getting a little difficult now. The sit ups are just obnoxious to set up - its cumbersome to get myself set up with two 25 pound plates. But they also made me realize something. While doing my set I was like fuck, I have to go, and I doubt I could do another. Then I banged out two more sets. I realized a lot of what is holding me back right now is psychological limitations. They might have their place at times, but I think its hindering me a little too much. I thought I had a decent mindset/mental game too. Time to fix it.

today: bench 67.5kg 2-2-4-3 , 60kg 6-5-5 squat 60kg 5-5-5-4 dead 100 5-4-4 ish bench - well i totally ruined my arms so im happy about it haha. had to bench first coz gym was full as fuck today. shame my back/positioning kept fucking at start squat - terrible form but i dont care as long as im going low enough. for the first time ever, today, i felt myself engaging my abs in the squat. almost killed myself dead - my grip is suddenly inadequate. not sure how my form was, it seemed "easy" (apart from the grip) and afterwards i thought i must have been rounding my back or doing something stupid, idk overall im very pleased with the effort i put in, i really am engaging a higher level of determination (you can see from the amount of spit on the mirror ahahaha) *it was actually 15 days i had without doing anything (and getting drunk twice, resting pulse was 123 two days later) which caused me to lose strength, not 12

Bud said the meet was about as cheerful as a funeral though, people missing lifts/bottoming out everywhere (including his daughter) Got knocked out in the semi finals AGAIN at my tournament this weekend. decaf not happy. First lift in a week today, did a few front squat singles at 140 then snatch + OHS at 80-85 (started out shitty but got better, basically just focusing on standing up with the weight and "jumping" down into a deep squat to catch it as fast as i can and letting the little things take care of themselves) and then a few CJ + FS at ~110 (coach actually told me 'good" after one of them omg wtf??). Going camping all week so i'll probably try to squeeze another lift in tomorrow before i go find out how many beers its possible to drink in a weekend while surviving a canoe ride.

I looked at the list, bud's daughter must be pretty good to start at 78 in the snatch. I missed the 63 womens section since I had to catch the flight home. I had 3 teammates in that session too. The judging was really really strict and there were a lot of bad calls. Also found some videos of my teammate Zelyx Rivera! She was voted the most outstanding female lifter and she won the 58kg weight class. Also I helped my team win the men's title. I dont really understand the point system but I helped a little bit. :D+ Show Spoiler +

79.9kg ------> 75.1kg :D The nausea issue is still pretty bad, but I'm working on my meal distribution and trying to drink more water etc. I'd love to hit 70kg within the next couple of months or so.

On bodybuilding.com they recommend 5% carbs, but can i use 0 carbs? If so, would the 5% be transferred to the 60% fat, the 35% protein, or splits proportionally between both?

If you haven't had knee surgery or if you aren't in a powerlifting competition, wrapping your knees isn't the greatest of ideas. I would recommend eating green vegetables with at least two meals a day, unless you want to be the most constipated person on earth .

And yeah buds daughter is really good, i was suprised she bottom out as i've never seen her miss a lift (until today) and she missed her weightclass by .6kg or something. Idk a precise % but it def helps some. I would only use it for max outs at a power lifting competition or something, i do almost all my squatting no wraps/belt/etc.

I estimate I can make 450kg by november 25 between squat/deadlift, and a 10-20 extra kilos might give me the edge to win at my weight class (75kg). Tbh i'll rather have all lifting done completely raw, but if i'm competing self handicap isn't the greatest idea.

![]() But I think its less of looking swole and more of the confidence you have from lifting. I was naturally good with women - I had troubles escalating before. Now, I simply could care less and do it. I've gotten better, but only because I am more confident in myself as well. Currently, I'll probably be in a relationship with someone here soon. I've her mentioned before All I got for ya. I think I messed up my forearm a little bit from lifting today. Theres a very dull pain in it constantly (On the side opposite of the palm, about in the middle of my forearm), and when I rotate my arm around it becomes a sharp pain. May have pulled it or something, not too sure.
