Like when Rippetoe says to catch a big breath and squeeze your abs. Yesterday those 105kg seemed like nothing cause I just did that. Squeezed the shit out of my abs gut and well. I love when the weight bounces because you're doing reps too fast lololol Don't let the weight bounce, its cheating because your using the force you generate from the bounce to aid your lift. Bouncing is not cheating if it's on the squat. It's actually encouraged because it's a muscle reaction to the force of you going down and creates momentum for an explosive movement up. Rippetoe specifically recommends several techniques for creating this bounce on the squat. Speaking of the squat bounce, I've been doing the Pat Mendes style super deep olympic squat lately. I actually prefer it to the Rippetoe squat. On the bench press, however, bouncing the bar off of your chest is both harmful and cheating.

I'll get back on it for a 6-8 week cycle once I get to like 10-12%bf. I just made an avocado, ham, cheese, lettuce and mayo sandwich on sourdough. It was amazing.

I was gonna just do 180x1 since its the most ive ever squatted, but i felt good so i kept going ![]() on the other hand i just lost my job on that same day, now i have no money to continue bulking hardcore like i wanted..uhg. Going Paleo you automatically avoid majority of the high GI foods which means you go about your day with sustained energy levels, and won't face any energy crashes or lethargy. I never woke up bloated regardless of the volume of food I had consumed. In terms of alcohol I switched from beer to cider and spirits. In that respect you also never wake up feeling bloated. Heartburn and stomach irritations are rare if ever. Your diet is made up of mostly protein and fats with carbs coming in the form of fruit and veggies, so you're essentially on a low carb diet which means weight loss and maintenance is a lot easier. Just to name a few benefits. There are definitely down sides. Preparing a salad with some chicken or fish takes time, while a ham sandwich is quick. It's very expensive, so much meat! Eating out becomes difficult as almost everything these days has either bread/rice/pasta/potatoes or copious amounts of some sort of sauce which contains a lot of gluten or dairy. Bread is delicious. Beer is delicious. Just to name a few negatives! I hope that helps.

Also, it is key to know that paleo is not perfect for everyone. I have intolerance to gluten so avoiding bread is key to my good health (mostly my clear skin), but when I go on paleo I get an extremely low appetite and end up eating next to no calories all day. I'll eat a plate of eggs and beef in the morning and feel like I never want to see food again for the next 24 hours. I need something to fuck with my leptin I guess, and the best way I've found is white rice. By staying true to the other principles of paleo and adding white rice, I have been able to increase my calories to a more reasonable level and stay satisfied all day. It's not perfect but it's good for me.

It is really eyeopening lol just watched it. good insight, but often times I was a bit confused by the timeline (like, did what they just tol me happen years ago or is it still going on and how bad is it still compared to a few years ago etc...) although here in switzerland almost none of those issues really apply. we have lots of healthy food and its actually cheaper to buy raw vegetables and then cook them than to eat out. so, shape up america!

How will it form and will it be proportionate to the rest of my pecs? Overhead press works your upper chest as well as shoulders i believe. Form follows function, but if you really want to shape your chest or w/e then you'll have to ask someone who's more into bodybuilding. SS is designed to make you stronger and give you more mass, and a better looking body happens to come with it.
