So fuck. I need my rods removed. Fuck.

Huge surgery, 3 months recovery, 6 weeks brace. ON morphine. Fuck.

Can either have it now or push it off until the end of summer year (11 months or so >.>)

Perhaps hold off and try for massive gains, so the atrophy afterwards isn't so bad? Have you still been gaining like you were a couple weeks ago?

I'm just doing push-ups now as strength training (we do some strength training during running practice but not much) but I don't really like push-ups. I'll try to find some weights to train with to improve my upper body. Should I get some whey protein? I don't need to get super muscular but I guess it won't hurt. I don't want to bulk up too much though, I still need to lose fat.

Nutrition goals -- Keep up my diet. (less soda, barely any chips, candy, cookies...) I'll try to fit in some more chicken, eggs as well...

I realized that I'm not following SS at all anymore

Sunday: Back Squats + DL
Tuesday: Bench Press + Bent Rows + Good Mornings
Thursday: Military Press + Weighted Dips + Weighted Pullups + Weighted Chinups

This seems like some radiation-mutated Split program...

(this is caused by the fact that it's not possible for me to be on full SS and be functional at work)

Blasphemy! In all seriousness though, why don't you like them? Too heavy? Too hard to keep correct form? Have you tried doing them on your knees? They're still really, really good on your knees, and you can squeeze out a lot more of them. Just put your knees like a bit wider than shoulderwidth apart somewhere soft, drop down slowly, and focus on pushing up with your ARMS, instead of just kind of getting up somehow (aka cheating).re

Squatting with a pair of converse insted of running shoes + all the tips everyone gave me on my video made the squat soo much better.

Felt sore in my adductors, after only squatting 40 5x10 practicing form. Need to stretch my hamstrings and adductors some more, I have been slacking when it comes to stretching

Maxed out on bench yesterday

120 kg/266 lbs = 1.6xBW. Pretty good I guess, but still not completely satisfied. I can feel my 3xdislocated shoulder today, so I probably need to take a little break from benching

Time to get that DL up to 200 kg...

Pretty fast thanks to a LOT of running and field hockey... but then again I'm nowhere near the heaviest lifter in this thread.

Haha I'm same height except 30 kg heavier. I'm sub 5 seconds in the 40 yard dash, never timed a 100m though
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?
