Cutting 500 calorie to 3240 within fasting is a good goal or is it too much ? I'm not looking to shed muscles and would like some smaller progress.
I'd start with 3000 First. -250 is the first step I've seen many take. After a week or so and your weight plateaus, I would move down to 2740 or whatever it is.
Edit: Just personal opinion though.
Edit: Nice job sJ. Next sig = 200 kg push press on the way!
Do you guys take 10 g bcaa or the recommended amount specified on the container? Cause it sure seems like a lot relative to the 2g that my danish product recommends.
the 10g suggested in leangains is fasted; idk if that makes a difference, but your' product probably doesn't assume the same state.

I plan on adding some sprints and bodyweight stuff throughout the week, anyone have advice on a good workout? I was on madcow's 5x5 before, but I don't know if there's enough break if I want to do stuff on the offdays. I want to add about 30 pounds to my squat, 20 pounds to bench, and a bit more to my DL.
Might be able to get away with those increases on a 5/3/1 program, and that's certainly got enough of a slow but steady increase to be able to work it on a cut. Just going to have to plan out what you use as a max on each cycle beforehand.

yes i take 10 gr bcaa 10-15 mins before my fasted workout in the weekend, for me thats 4 pretty big chewable candy like bits with a horrible "punch" taste that i have to chew and just swallow with water haha..
i recommend you buy Xtend bcaas, esp the refreshing watermelon.. just mix it in water and chug it down pretty allright tasting aswell
oh god, catastrophic workout today... not even gonna log it on fitocracy it was that atrocious.
tried 132.5kg squat but for some reason my left arm was troubling me so I stopped (also, the bar felt fucking heavy) 65kg press went abysmal as well (3-3-2), partly because of the arm pain then I was supposed to deadlift 175kg. bar did not move, not even an inch. so I deloaded it a bit and tried 160kg. could barely get one rep in T_T
Squat: 50kg 5-5-5 Bench: 30kg 5-5-5 (using low weights since i got some pain in a shoulder muscle) Deadlift: 57,5kg 5
Squats and deadlift felt fine today. Squats are not that heavy as long as my form is good, almost missed the third rep of the second set when i got too low and didnt get proper hip drive on the way up. Deadlifts felt great aswell will continue adding the same weight for my next workout.
Btw what do you do when you fail reps squatting, do you just dump the bar or?
Tried the Third world squat that was linked a couple of pages back, I can squat down with the weight on my heels and my hands reaching all the way back witihout falling over, so flexibility is good, but it still gets uncomfortable after sitting a few mins in the position.
Btw: My scale says I have added 2.5kgs BW this week, wtf!?

awww it happens from time to time. got any less sleep/food/love than usual?
I'll bet that the reason you didn't get 175 was because all your other lifts didn't go as planned. Just rest up for a couple a days and try again
@Ohnoes: That is not uncommon (just look at Frodac lol) when you start out with more eating and lifting. Don't take it as you've gained 2,5kg of muscle. It's prolly water, glycogen along with some muscle

After almost a month of drama, stupid shit and nonsense, I decided to end things with my current gf (which was my ex-gf) and now it's time to enjoy the single life again. The past tuesday, I bought myself an awesome 32" sony Bravia, to watch them sports and porn in proper high Def. Fucking yes!. I've been "cutting", eating healthy and staying low on the fat and carb train, and I saw some changes, I look fucking good sexy, but I want to be bigger. so ye.
I'm going to start lifting harder, and eating more and bulking a shitton more, I want to be at least 75kg when I'm done cutting, so yeh, Aiming for a big bulk and lifting even more.
Enjoying the single life this time around is going to be awesome, and I'll make sure of it.
My life will consist of: + Having fun + Designing + Lifting + Eating + sleeping + Playing soccer
Eating meat will result in a horrible and premature death in your mid-twenties,
Proccessed vegetarian fake-meat is on the other hand very healthy.
Sincerely, Ohnoes' sister
Bad troll
But can i arrange my training weights right now to bench and squat the same? Because i can bench easily more, but squats are really hard, the 5x5 programme isnt stiff, i can change it right?

If this were true, 95% of the worlds population would have a life expentency in the mid 20s. Also, mankind would probably never have survived either way.

well i've been eating like crap for the past few weeks (in terms of quality, not quantity though). pretty busy with studying for my exams so maybe my head was not completely in it.
think i'm gonna rest for a bout a week or so until exams are over and then maybe start cutting afterwards so I look presentably for my vacation at the end of august.

Haha, that reminds me of a show I saw on how deli meats were made. They had a small section on "Tofurkey," which for those who are unaware is a vegan meat substitute. The owner/founder of the company is leading the factory tour and the first thing he discusses are the ingredients which are: tofu, wheat gluten and canola oil. Talk about the holy trinity of unhealthy food products.

Well, they could add in fructose and trans fats too

wait canola oil is bad?? I heard it was the best one to use for day to day use =(. What oil is preferred for cooking?
