Bench 4 sets of 5 @ 115 (<- still stuck between here and 145 =/) Deadlift 2 sets of 5 @ 185 Powerclean 5 sets of 3 @ 95 (<- think I've got my form to a reasonable point now.) Dips 6-6-5 @ Bodyweight I'm embarrassed by these numbers. I need to get back on schedule. | ||

The only reason I've been out so long is because my family is fighting me at each and every turn. I benched 140, deadlifted the same for 2x8, and did 7/7/6/5 on dips the last time I lifted. Squatted instead of PC though. | ||

Since January, I've been trying my hand at leangains. I wanted to get lean and add muscle. This is how I looked on the 12th of January: + Show Spoiler + ![]() I spent a lot of time playing around with different macro breakdowns and different caloric levels to figure out what worked for me. I started out doing a body recomp and in the end tried switching into a full blown diet, although I was in the 'dieting' mentality for this entire process, just didn't have the method down for a lot of it. Fast forward to today, 31st of May. I've made the following strength gains since the first picture. All lifts are Reps x Sets Weighted Dips: 5x5 +5kg ---> 5x5 +30kg Weighted Chins: 5x5 +7.5kg ---> 5x5 +25kg Benchpress: Hard to say. Gained a few kg on this, then lost it while trying out varying calorie levels. In the end, I'm moving around the same weight (70kg 5x3) Deadlift: estimated 1RM 115kg ---> 130kg 1RM Squats: 5x3 ~65kg ---> 80kg 5x3 Abs: I started doing knee bent negative dragonflags in february. moved on to full blown negatives, then weighted negatives, and last week I believe I did my first real rep. I'll be able to gauge this more correctly tomorrow. Here is what I look like as of today, at a bodyweight of about 68.5ish kg in the morning. I decided to give dieting a break since I've been at it mentality (just not in practice) since January and am really burnt out of it. I've been off dieting for a few days now and these are normal water levels again for me. Relaxed pic: + Show Spoiler + ![]() Flexed pic + Show Spoiler + ![]() I haven't achieved the leanness I set out to (note that abs only really appear while flexed) and I may do another two weeks of dieting before my vacation in late June to try to shed the last layers of fat on me, but for the sake of my sanity I'm taking a 2 week break at least and lean bulking during this time. Feels good to cram down bowl after bowl of oats again :F Snapple knows what I'm talking about. Note that this has been an immense learning curve for me and that I feel I could have saved a lot of time whilst gaining more strength and ending up leaner had I known what I do now when I started, but that's often the way it goes. My future short term goals involve removing the last layers of fat, and then lean bulking slowly in the long term. I've put in a lot of effort to get lean, and I want to stay lean no matter what. I'm simply just not happy with the way I look if I'm fatter than I am today. | ||

yesterday I wasn't supposed to do PowerCleans but I felt like doing them and did a couple. 50x1 60x1 65x1 70x1 75x1 75kg felt really easy, but I don't think I can do taht for like 5x3 or something, It's just so tiring to lower the bar, since my gym is shit and doesn't have bumper ![]() | ||

bench 57.5kg 4x5 WOOOOOOOOOOOO seriiously shitting myself about it all morning got a spotter for the first set and told him not to touch it "tho i might fail after 4" confidence went from -10000 to +100 in a matter of seconds squat was...........since i had 2 days off, im guessing my flexibility went to 0 and i spent half an hour just working up to a 45kg squat again. which was awful, and still rushed coz i didnt sleep early enough. got 2 vids to post later, tho not really worth it. one is funny as fuck tho lesson = i should probably go to gym EVERY day just for 30 minutes with squat practice coz i lose my flexibility too fast otherwise. or i should at least have a daily stretching routine that i take seriously. 57.5kg bench woooo now late for work | ||

They aren't very calorically dense, so you're not getting as much sugar per serving, but most of it is fructose. | ||

keep in mind that it's not even close to being bad enough that you'll suffer healthwise from it, just saying that if you're after aesthetics then you're probably at the pt where correcting that issue is a better option than trying to reach a lower bf level | ||
