Progress is good. my chest in 3 weeks went from "huh" to "omg i have boobs" i was less than 70kg most of my life (age 15 i was literally an anoxeric) i was bullied so fucking much , my friends to this day dont even remember it but to me it was the majority of my life there is nothing better you can do than with your life at 15 than 1) learn university stuff 2) work out i had a deformity like you frodac - mine was fucked up rib cage, which looked and felt uneven and freaky. i still have it of course, but after putting on some weight it is not as noticeable. nowadays, after being so "anti" everything - how can looking good make an impact on my life? i know not only that "looking good" is achievable, but that it is a core necessity to making the woman that you love happy and therefore making your own life with her a happy and lasting one

Pause below knee. It was different since I have never done it before. deadlift was 4 sets of 8 at 90kg. This is a deadlift in a clean position, I wanted as much carryover as possible.

On a side note, I am attending a rather formal type event on Saturday. Just sent a few of my suits in for much needed dry cleaning. Since I don't get to wear a suit all that often it surprises everyone when I actually "dress to impress". Not gunna lie, I look baller as hell in a suit.

Holy cow. Also I have a followup with my PT tomorrow. She gave some stupid resistance band exercises a couple months ago. I have a feeling that will go well lol. (Apart from my flexibility which is still horrid. I think I need to work on that independently from lifting)

But it was under 28min and I'm happy with that. Not too sore right now but I know I will be tomorrow! Definitely not squatting until Thursday LoL. Also I stretched out really well after the race. Felt good to loosen up my hip flexors both during the run and afterwards in the stretching. They've been feeling tight as hell during my squats recently. One of my friends who also attended was also surprised at how flexible I am. Especially in the hammies and glutes. And I'm probably less than 6 inches away from full split now when I am fully warmed up. On a side note, I am attending a rather formal type event on Saturday. Not gunna lie, I look baller as hell in a suit. I'd like suits if they fit me better. I swear everytime i go to put one on it fits worse than before (legs and lats/shoulders getting too big lol) Just bought a bunch of dress clothing, such a pain in the ass because none of it is athletically tapered for V shape and my legs are always too tight and waist too loose.

LoL I know what you mean. But luckily my upper body is thin enough where the jackets fit well enough. Pants are sometime a problem. I tend to get them sized a little long because when I sit my upper legs pull so much of the material up and it gets uncomfortable. Part of the reason why I usually don't wear anything but shorts year-round. I remember my aunt commenting once on why I don't wear those skinny jeans that everyone likes to wear nowadays and I told her (being a hockey player) that if I ever wore skin-tight jeans I would look like Captain America from the waist down and a thin strip of bacon with arms from the waist up LoL.

Off the rack is impossible for me too. It's kind of complimenting that my biceps, chest, thighs, and shoulders are all too big for commercial clothing, and my waist is too small for it, but it's also a pain in the ass. Also, being 6'3, it's pretty much impossible to find pants with legs long enough as well. I just buy all my clothes from www.indochino.com. It's pretty cheap for custom made stuff.

I'm used to all the suits being waay too small. Now that's not a problem, but if I continue I"ll overcompensate.

I'd stick to Starting Strength (in the OP) for your workouts and just eat a ton of food. Don't worry so much about comparisons, just do the best you can and reap the rewards.

How much/what volume at deadlift? looks awesome!! I'm going to try this out tomorrow. Yeah i've been going at it for almost a year now. 6 years of american football and some wrestling prior to that. Only recently started these compound lifts. I would do 5x a week splits as I said, I bulked up a LOT comparatively but didn't feel anywhere as strong as I am after doing this for only a couple weeks. I just love picking shit up and putting that fucker back down. !!! arrrrr. baseball got cancelled tomorrow as the city has revoked all permits due to excess rain. gonna kill it tomorrow!! i'm honestly.. very excited.
