Justin.tv has in the past have had problems with too many people from a foreign country for their server to handle. If they are so gung ho about Esports, make sure that each foreign country has double the capacity a fair estimate of viewers to be had in that one country.

Otherwise, Sickly awesome go ESPORTS
We were all raised on televion that made us believe we'd all be Millionairs, Movie gods, and Rockstars..... But we won't.... We are slowly learning that fact. And we are very, very pissed off.

So this is what an internet takeover looks like. Jeez you guys have in a matter of months gone from being 'Yet Another Stream' to being Starcraft streaming and all through actual quality of service.

No dodgy buying off of casters, no short term deals and as yet no broken promises*. Very impressive.

So as long as you don't mind me avoiding your frankly 'gizmodo' of show page (come on, meebo! seriously ?), I'll be happily watching all your stuff from the TL popup

Sounds good Day9's channel is marked as private at the moment though. Dunno if this is on purpose.

Guess for testing out the stream! I hope it is better than Ustream, I am thrilled to watch a daily without lag, I had to switch off from the last one because of the stuttering and lags.

So awesome to hear this.

Used to watch a lot of livestream/ustream (and even had the offline bug for a longggg time on ustream), but as soon as I found Justin.tv that's been pretty much the only stream I watch except for things like Day9/djWHEAT/etc. Justin.tv's entertainment section is awesome as well for tv shows/movies, and the quality/lack of issues has been amazing.

Noooooooooooo!!! Why is your site flagged for Peer-to-Peer File-Sharing!???

I know this is good news for some people but this is just horrible for me because I can't watch JTV from school. Oh well I guess the days of watching live are over and I will join the archive viewers.

Same problem here, partner. If only I could take part... oh well, maybe someday.

Why not contact your school's IT department and ask why it's filtered? If you don't make noise, it'll never be fixed.

The delay to streams will be awesome and exactly what people have been hoping for for a long time. Just some easy, or simple way to prevent possible cheating in that regards. Glad this service is being introduced.

I've used Jtv for my own stream and always encouraged others to do for (especially now with the international # of viewers sorted out). Hope all the best for Day9 and Jtv.

Ugh.. really dislike move from a purely selfish standpoint - most justin.tv streams are choppy and laggy for me :I

I hope they expand more bandwith to europe someday.

I think that justin.tv has been the streaming service most interested in esports, making it the go-to place for enthusiasts. There are times, though, where the stream has to be restarted due to lag, which can't really be done at nailbiting moments. Please do your best to have enough for no lag with 50k viewers on one stream; quality of stream during the biggest esports events is what can make or break my opinion on Justin.TV

Things I like so far:
The justin.tv ipod app. Streaming sites like ustream and livestream always say they are working to make their streams viewable on mobile devices, but never get around to it.

The 'follow' system

Great quality

Things that can be improved on:

The page design underneath the stream is lackluster. Good streaming websites should have a very 'sharp' feel to them. Make everything line up perfectly and get ride of obnoxious links and stream options everywhere. Look at Ustream: notice how the botton of the chat aligns with the bottom of the video? I really like that. I also like how clean the area at the bottom of the stream looks. Try to aim for something similar.

Thanks for all the positive comments! We are actively developing our service to better-fit the needs of gaming broadcasters, and supporting eSports tournaments thru direct sponsorships has more than paid off.

Cheers!
