They're two different formats.
Affinity isn't going anywhere and ensoul rotates out in a month.
Also I don't think 6ahs group 'came up with' anything in particular that a whole bunch of other similar groups came up with at the same time.
Also 6ah at this point paperback writer in Modern seems like an obvious result.

Not the team that won, but we came to the same conclusion. Basically we want to find the deck that was lowest to the ground that couldn't be susceptible to early counters, but the pieces were strong enough on their own to not worry about that hand disruption from abzan.
Worlds is this weekend and should be much less cancerous. The format is more stable in standard and you might even see the RU mill control deck. Modern will be fun, and I know someone will be on affinity

Ah ok Cixah, that might have been what he said but I just had a misunderstanding. That deck didn't seem as cancerous as the Red aggro burn deck the swede was running at least.
