I love having my phone, computer, and tablet all synced up through Google. I love having an email thread discussing a weekend plan, and having my phone notify me that it's coming up. I love scheduling a flight one day, and then the morning of the flight, having my tablet alert me saying "yo, you need to leave now to get on the plane in time". Yes, it's a bit terrifying. But at the same time, it's so nice. | ||

I already don't really trust google because google is far too large. Then again maybe I'm just a crazy paranoid, I mean I'm not even nervous about people who properly own guns so something must be wrong with me. | ||

Pretty much every huge company is dogshit at the end of the day. Google just has good marketing. It's kind of what happens when you get so large that individual people are meaningless compared to the number on the spreadsheet. I mean that happens at smaller companies but just seems worse the bigger a company gets. | ||
