I don't even think I can watch them. They're going to be too upsetting to be funny. I'm just going to enjoy Jon Stewart's final show and let that make me happy-sad, as opposed to the clowns who are recognized as "presidential candidates" that make me sad-sad.
Even though I disagree with a lot of what they say, I think it's important to listen anyway.
Daily Show has been fire lately, especially Monday night's episode. It'll be sad to see Jon go, but I'm looking forward to whatever heart to heart he gives tonight (although I'll end up watching it tomorrow)

Hm, Numy's right, that sort of thing is generally stress related. But, if you can't get rid of the stress (work, personal life, etc), there are other things you can do. You can consider doing light physical activity to make your sleep more restful. A quick workout, or walk around the block to tire you down. That sort of thing can also help focus your thoughts if those are what's bothering you.
It could also be diet. Not just caffeine, what are you eating in the hours before bed? Eating certain carbs like rice, bush nuts like peanuts, or drinking some tea before bed can relax you. Fatty foods can lead to restless, jittery sleep.

I would have agreed before but now I sleep so well!
On another note, TL/LL needs a multiquote function.
You and scip have a vague similarity in appearance is monte's point. (I think)
Current suspects are general increase in calorie consumption (about 1000+ more than a 2.5 weeks ago) More frequent physical activity (not a ton more than usual but I'm lifting 3x a week and cardio 3x a week + volleyball) and stress from work. But work has sucked for a few months now, I've been lifting/running/playing hard for years and I'm eating the same foods as I always have. It's really strange.
Oh, the picture. Dude, Scip, you need to learn how to take a picture like a real person. Smile, have good posture, use something with more pixels than you have fingers, for a start.
Mordek, not sure then man :\ I would still recommend drinking tea or something else relaxing before bed to calm the nerves.

My current plan is to avoid electronics from like 8 or 9pm onwards. See if that makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestions, I might get some tea anyways because that does sound nice. Just not the caffeinated kind.
Oh yeah, that's true. The Otter says that she sleeps better when she takes an hour before bed to just read or do busy work away from computers or TV. Meanwhile, I roll away from whatever screen I'm glued to and then browse my phone before sleeping lol.

May I recommend chamomile? If you like peppermint, sleepytime is good, but I don't soooooooo chamomile.
Meanwhile I can't drag myself away from a screen ever so that isn't working for my sleeping.
Man, I think electronics have messed with my brain, because I used to fall asleep with my laptop playing Markiplier, Day9, or eSports and slept like a baby lol.

You got F.Lux though? That shit helps me out a lot.
Oh and have Philips Hue-esque lightbulbs in your bedroom. Have it on a more warm orange colour late at night and I sleep like a baby.

What tea are you drinking? Different teas have caffeine or other things to make you more/less relaxed.
