She and the Tom we're aptly calling "Tom" are both smart enough to pull the newspaper out of the trap for easier eating. I reset the trap with the newspaper duct taped in place and instead caught two completely different cats. They were probably feral, but since we didn't know for sure we let them go. We'll have to resume trapping attempts next week, as we're heading out on vacation this weekend (my brother promised to cat sit for us, little did he know we were going to double the number of cats!). | ||
