7 spaces per tab is a crime against programming.
More seriously, I generally avoid 1-3 unless I'm 110% certain nobody will ever have a reason to put anything else in the block. Of those I prefer 3 since it has the best readability.
I prefer 5 to 4 because it's easier to comment out the conditional for bug testing purposes. It's the same reason why a lot of code standards now call for this sort of thing:
if (something) { amazing code } else { more amazing code }

And technically 99% of the touhou stuff I used to post are covers so I guess I'm covered myself. ... well, I guess I can still plug Steve'n'Seagulls in.
I dislike #1 and #2 because they're more prone to oversights when editing code Req. I prefer #3 for keeping it a one-liner, or #5 in general. #4 takes up more space and it's a big issue for my when getting into a new project and having to learn its code, you want clarity and as little scrolling/switching files as possible.

Why do you not put a space between your if and your parentheses?

5 >> 3 > Everything else.
Organization and code legibility are the best. I use 3 only when the line is that short and it feels like it makes more sense to keep it to that one line.
That being said, my organization currently uses Coffeescript, so there's a lot of #2 that I use as well. I'm starting to see it as the same as #5 even though I don't believe that in my heart. ES6 has the same thing.

Oh yeah, also this.

5?
There is no other answer, what the hell are you doing you spaghetti monster.

I would choose "All right" over "Alright" but I don't code.

Resharper/VS C# auto formats to #4, Javascript to #5. My company doesn't allow 1, 2, or 3 by code standards but I think they're fine for single line things. There have been several heated discussions about this.

1 is fine but i like 4 and 5 more for clarity
also just make it if(thing) instead of thing==true

my professor was a huge stickler for #4 and also never using ==true when using boolean functions or variables in a conditional
think he took 1 point off if it wasn't in this format:
if(thing) { doThing(); }
more points if it was a lot different. he was an ass but I've come to embrace it and think it is the most clear for me.
edit:
the reasoning was that the brackets being aligned make it much easier to identify which brackets enclose what and that ==True is redundant

Makes it super easy to see that you're checking a boolean and that it has to be true. Sure you can tell anyway, but if you're scanning massive amounts of code it just makes it stand out more.
I also find I normally write 4>5 (the rest are garbage), something satisfying about equally indented brackets

Game day once again, nobody read this + Show Spoiler +So I ran RW humans. Deck is here, minus a few cards from the 'maybeboard' like gisela and avacyn (too slow) http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/rw-hoo-mans/Friend of mine joined me and was debating between mono-U control and UR control. I was basically explaining to him right up until before we started that UR seems to be better, offers more options. He didn't want to run Harnessed Lightnings, me and another guy told him otherwise. Didn't want to run Sweltering Suns, same thing. Played two practice matches before we started, crushed him twice. Was overly concerned about running into the control mirror for sideboarding. Round 1 vs UR Control+ Show Spoiler + Played against my friend in the first round, and wouldn't you know it, he crushed me. Can't fight back against double sweltering suns both games. I was a little salty about that since I beat him in the games that didn't count but meh, what're you gonna do?
Record 0-1
Round 2 vs BW Zombies+ Show Spoiler +Didn't draw particularly well ('cause I kind of have to do have any chance of beating this deck before they start to grind with card advantage and lords) and most importantly didn't draw any of the removal I had pre-board or even post-board. Just got smoked.
Record 0-2
Basically knocked out of prizing at this point, sort of ruining my streak of successful Game Days---but wait! Sunday is Pokemon TCG Standard whatever where all the 10-year-olds come out to play (it's pretty cute honestly. Half the crowd is young boys with their mothers in tow and the other half is....older dudes....), and the guy I played against is one of the owners so....he tossed me the win and dropped.
Record 0-2 1-1 Round 3 vs UR control+ Show Spoiler +Beginning to see a pattern here? Anyway this game was the most fun either of us had all day. This guy was really nice. We chatted and played. I had the slowest draws ever for a RW aggro deck with a Declaration in Stone in hand against a deck playing almost no creatures, and my second one drawn as my first card. I was staying alive, churning out dudes one by one and having them countered/removed. Was kinda laughing to myself about both my dead cards in hand, telling my opponent I'll explain what I thought was so funny after the game. Eventually my opponent tapped out when I had both Gideon and Hazoret in hand, so I dropped Hazoret, figuring he'd likely have no maindeck answers for it, and I was right. Then he drops a Torrential Gearhulk. Oh crap, too big for Hazoret to get throu---oh wait Declaration #1. I'm about to win and then my opponent dumps Combustible Gearhulk onto the board, explaining he didn't have a 4th Torrential. I'm sitting pretty at 20 life so do I want to let the control draw 3 cards or take some damage? Opponent flips:
Sphinx of the Final Word Torrential Gearhulk Fumigate
For a grand total of 18 damage to the face.
Easily one of the greatest things I had ever seen. Fortunately for me, Declaration #2 was still in hand and I won, but just barely. Congratulated my opponent on the best Gearhulk he's likely ever to get. We were both really happy after that game, was a lot of fun and back-and-forth.
Game 2 went sort of similarly, but instead of Hazoret I ultimately managed to land a Hanweir Garrison buffed by 2 Always Watching and out of range of stuff, slapped a Gryff's boon on it to get it over a Gearhulk and smashed a few times for the win.
Record 2-1 Since there were only 8 of us to begin with (oh did I neglect to mention that? Free Glorybringer promo!!!!!) we cut to top 4 at that point, and somehow I am playing for prizing after technically going 0-2 lol. Round 4 vs UR control+ Show Spoiler + Ughhhhhhh. Turns out half the people were on it and I played almost all of them. The other 2 decks were some crazy GW Odric deck running Indestructible lands and Awaken cards, and I don't know what the last guy was on, but he dropped.
Anyway, G1 I lose to Sweltering Suns. G2 I win with Hazoret. G3 I lose to Thing in the Ice. They were decent games, and fairly close I think.
So in the end, the streak stays alive, I grab a sweet (and decently valuable) promo and I got to play some games. My friend ended up being right about some things, wrong about others. Somewhat disappointingly I never really got to do what my deck was supposed to do in any of the games, which is smashing down with lots of attackers real real fast. I'm hoping the next set brings some upgrades for the deck or for mono R so I can bring it to side events after I scrub out of GP Toronto.

ongoing battle with comcast is really upsetting me.
somehow it's gotten to a stage where my connection issues are selectively choosing what websites i can visit. TL, facebook, google products are working but github, reddit, discord, league forums and others can't connect at all.
they told me to exchange my old modem last night so i did that today and the connection problems are persisting. + Show Spoiler +
heck i could upload that to TL through the embedded imgur thing but i can't go to imgur itself right now.
edit: fixed by changing dns

What windows do you use and have you changed DNS?
Edit: nvm you did.

Dang too slow. I helped my in-laws with the same issue. Its bizarre when it happens and you've never heard of it before.
Also I read it Wave and sounds like a good time. Since half the people were playing UR control, was it right for your friend to be concerned about the mirror then?

Yeah he was absolutely right, but he had no reason to think it would be a thing going in. It wasn't a popular or well-performing deck at the pro tour the week before.

That's perfectly sensible until you get stuck doing Javascript. Because you'll often use "if(thing)" not to evaluate boolean values, but to determine that a given object/property/whatever simply exists, it's better to use "if(thing==true)" (or better yet, "if(thing===true)") because that makes it explicit that the code is interested in boolean values rather than instantiation.

Honestly a bit surprised you did so poorly against UR with that list. Thought you might steal games away on the play. Guess the lack of extra gideons prob hurts the most?

Reading anything else is like reading comic sans.
Comic update: Donald Duck was super popular from right from the start in Denmark and we unlike Norway didn't burn up our factory. So it's not that rare or expensive. It's still possible to sell for an alright amount of money due to quantity and their on average well kept quality.
Without seeing the WW2 comics he couldn't put a price on them, but he said it'd be hard even if he did see them. They should all be easy to sell if they are just in any half decent shape (for the right mag it's even acceptable if a page is missing?!). The autograph due to it's story shouldn't drag the price down as (I quote) "anyone who wouldn't pay more for the history dont deserve to own them".

He's so dam expensive and rotating soon anyway. Fk that guy!
You're not going to try swing into B/WB zombies? Seems to be the go to going forward with how dam resilient it is while being fast.
