Mostly because it's pretty dumb for a second-generation Iranian-American born to 2 immigrants to be a xenophobic white supremacist.

![]() Like how do you look at yourself in the mirror and say "yeah I'm the pinnacle of human evolution". They're all fucking fatties, for chrissake, Trump included. Also reminder that all the metrics white supremacists use to feel superior to black people, would also mean that they are inferior to Asians, but I guess that doesn't count? I'll believe all their rhetoric when I see them talking about how white people's rights should be stripped and handed over to Asians instead, who obviously know better than they do.

I've never really watched him or Game Grumps, so I don't have an attachment to him or anything, so it's not really a thing to me. But holy shit that little condescending laugh he makes when he doesn't know what to say is grating.

I have personally never had it hard to appreciate peoples work even if their world view is retarded. Nafta might be an exception though ;P

When I made a thread on /pol/, most people agreed that white+east asian race mixing is acceptable ^^ Seuss, in the past I had trouble understanding people who got upset over celebrities, but recently Joshua Robinson, a grappling youtuber, got convicted of having sex with minors, possession of CP (321 videos) and showing porn to a 6-year old, so that upset me a lot. Worst thing is, all his youtube videos got taken down, when I wanted to rewatch his series on Kesa Gatame... :/

So when I say existential crisis I'm not exaggerating. A significant chunk of my very identity is tied up in his mess and I still haven't figured it out yet.

Nafta might be an exception though ;P The really stupid thing is that there are plenty of right-wing opinions that you can honestly and easily debate from a common ground, including some of the stuff he was saying, but he chose to go the route of "HAHAHA I don't even want to explain myself to you, but the facts that I just made up back me up". And there are still people out there that are defending him and agreeing with that.

If you declare yourself to be the superior race because of X Y Z, and say that black people are subhuman trash because of X Y Z, why are you not subhuman trash as well if Asians are better than you at X Y Z? The only logical conclusion is that X Y Z never really mattered to you at all, and it's just a matter of ensuring that whatever race you're in is on top. Kind of like how you often see people advocating for eugenics and "earning" the right to reproduce, but curiously always set it up in such a way that they automatically qualify and get to reproduce.

The US right wing is based on morals that surpass the basic idea of better living standards for all but in a round about way or worse like libertarian or anti contraception ideas. Reverse racism is either a strawman or you are debating an equally dumb person on the other side of the spectrum which means you will never find common ground either way.

Mostly because it's pretty dumb for a second-generation Iranian-American born to 2 immigrants to be a xenophobic white supremacist. This doesn't surprise me. Broadly generalizing / stereotyping here based on my anecdotal sample size of ~200 people from highschool thru uni,and into my professional career. In my experience, most people from the middle-eastern / Balkan powerkeg area of the world with any ties at all to an energy industry are very alt-right / racist / xenophobic unless they are very well educated. I was going to say except for Egyptians, but all the Egyptians I know either have a PhD or a Masters. Whether this is legitimate or simply trying to get a long with the perceived industrial culture not sure, but I find its a very very prevalent. Both of my professional mentors are of this heritage ( one Iranian, one egiptian) and emigrated fleeing conflicts in the 70s. Most of these people were quite liberal and had "inbred Muslim hicks" ( read, terrorists funded by the US) ruin their society. I think that plays a part in why many especially those from a few generations from that area of the world find so much in common with the alternater right. My Iranian mentor made Iran in the 60s sound very very much like modern day California. Just with a booming Energy industry in lieu of a booming tech industry.

I believe it is oxford that specifies that the prejudice must be "based on the belief that ones own race is superior" And plenty of other definitions insinuate that it must come from a position of power. But even if it doesn't fit these modern definitions, hating on people because of the colour of their skin or their nationality is obviously prejudice which is obviously bad (to normal people) There are huge demographics I am very prejudice against. white brown and black extremists piss me off equally. westborro church, extreme feminists, extreme black lives matter, ISIS, American anti-Muslim activists. Muslim anti-American activists its all a load of shit. 50 years ago a smart fella figured out "Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind." but based off the prejudice he faced i believe the quote applies much more appropriately to racism.

Institutional racism also isn't a necessarily bad thing, depending on your political ideology, I mean that's what race-based affirmative action is. I personally find the definition of racism as beliefs about inferiority of people based on their race and/or discriminatory behaviour motivated by race pretty useful. It's actually pretty damn narrow, so that's good, and I think most people could agree with it.
