Not quite me, but I've placed top-8 in a tournament and I've hit ranks 8-6 a few times (10 atm with auto-conceding bad/slow match-ups because I don't have time to play much), but I just play daily quests using old s1 decks (my main control warrior deck still has argent commander but I'm way too lazy to adapt). People are still really bad at these ranks so I can't imagine breaking into legend is too hard once you're comfortable with the meta of the ranks around you.

How can one mandatory training session be so boring?
Once again I find myself torn between responsibilities and desires. I kind of want to continue playing ME2, but I have to start getting my apartment ready to move out some time next month. Blah being an adult.

Avoid posting on TL saying how you need to spend less time wasting your time.
Also, a schedule and tasks to accomplish that you can write down and then check off mentally or physically on your list of things to do that day.

I want to see more ME2 too, but do the move things first, then play ME2 without the thought in the back of your head, I should be doing other things. It makes it better!

set goals and accomplish them before you do other stuff. basiclaly just make a list of what your going to do and give yourself a timeline (which is more important than you'd think)

I lost faith in Alaric's match up advice after he said that Darius versus Brand should be doable.

Turns out at work that our sole programmer for our software found a new job and is leaving in three weeks. Is it bad that I immediately thought of Requizen?

Its awkward because you're being incentivised to not keep 7. While yes you are losing the card, think of the scry as half a card so the first Mulligan ends up not being as punishing. Plus you're still technically "looking" at 7 cards on the mull which means if you're on the draw you almost always should mulligan unless your 7 is godlike.

I've only watched 1st ep of 1st season so far and it was something else than I expected. Will probably watch the rest over the summer as it seems we've got a really dry season ahead of us.
