EE is about those things and signaling etc...

Right... I meant signal processing. Sorry the term escaped my mind.

Most of it is about resistances and stuff, making sure you don't overload your circuits/have the ability to not run 3-phase backwards (I've seen it, multiple times, especially on pump stations for golf courses), etcetcetc
I'm already kinda used to it, I just don't know the math/theory, but I can handle the practice, much the same as irrigation, I haven't bothered to learn the math behind what I do, but I could design a working system if given flow rate, working PSI, and possibly a price point

Just started watching Danganronpa when I finally got free time and I'm hooked. Can anyone recommend media that revolve around a "killing game" (most popular example Hunger Games)? I don't really care about medium, but I'd prefer not movies.
Also I started Comp Sci and it's really hard, at least for me.

Dead Man Wonderland is kinda like that I guess? Same for Psyren (which is FUCKING AMAZING, I love that series, I would love for it to get an anime TT). There's also Killing Bites, but I haven't read more than 1-2 chapters of that. Should be other manga/anime as well, but I can't think of any off the top of my head :/

Battru Royale I guess there was another but i cant remember the name, was a movie anyway tower of god? I've stopped reading because it's started devolving into not that but it might fit the first half or so
not sure about defining "killing game" as a genre €: For example, I would personally add the Saw movies I've seen (about ~3-4 of them I think there's like a million by now), but I don't think you're looking for that.

I'm starting Psyren. I'll borrow BR from a friend when he's done. I really liked Saw I, but I haven't seen any others. It's times like this I wish they had a solid live-action on a concept like this Q.Q
Thanks alot for the help guys! :D

CS gets better my first semester was horrible and i felt like everything went way over my head. talk to your teach or professor and ask them to go over anything that you don't understand. write a bunch of simple programs practicing whatever you learn in your programming class because it will help you understand it.

I never really believe people when they say they can't tell the difference. They were looking at this website and claimed they couldn't tell the difference on any of them. alright I legitimately can't tell the difference
I didn't even read the instructions and wasn't sure which was which until I went back up to the top
I also barely play games outside of smash though

I'm pretty sure Hunger Games was based off of it because it's virtually the same premise but Battle Royal was set in a modern time period. It was also about a hundred times better than Hunger Games. About 90% of the movie is about the killing game and the characters were a lot more believable. Kiriyama was a fucking badass.

We should play our super secret game that were in this weekend. o7 sir yes sir Sure let me know when. I will join in. I've been playing Destiny with a couple of folks from work so I've been slacking with everything else. Probs some on Saturday night. Tomorrow is also a test day so we can try that after I get home if everyone is going to be awake.
Sure, if people have time, I'm up for it.

Thanks man. I've never actually done this stuff before so I felt really uncomfortable, but I like the field. I'll probably follow your advice and and contact my teacher. They do say that practice/hard work makes perfect after all.

I also can't see the difference in the 30/60 fps thing hahaha I just automatically switch to 60fps when it's available cause people tell me it's really good.

I loved all of the Saws, but beyond the first 3 or 4, it becomes just about being as gorey and ridiculous as possible. I still enjoyed them though.

Yeah man don't be discouraged. I was the same way. The worst part is so many people who are in CS did shit in high school or their free time and they will shit on you in terms of what they can do. Just focus on you and go to all the office hours and go to ALL the lectures. Do the work and you should do well. I would advise tryna pair up with someone who seems knowledgeable. Pick their brain and you'll figure it out. Good luck!
DO NOT BE AFRAID OR EMBARRASSED ABOUT GOING TO OFFICE HOURS. Just make sure you try first and have something to show when you go to office hours.

WTB Amazon EC2.
@God Killer v2
Yeah CS does get more interesting once you overcome the "basic" stuff. Like how I just tried to allocate 800GB of memory trying to train my model.
Now I need to split the data up and do it chunk-by-chunk.
