1) Coke, from the first sip out of the can, has a more crisp taste than Pepsi. The first sip is 90% of the enjoyment of the drink when needing a thirst quenched, and Pepsi comes out of the gate flat, thanks to better sugar distribution from Coke throughout the can. 2) Coke preceeded Pepsi by ten years. Not only is that more than 3650 days more testing than Pepsi, but it also represents a classic act of patriotism. The roots of American commercialism derive down to this soda, and who'd want to get caught trying to be a hipster by drinking the new wannabe soda? Pepsi is just a punk kid trying to be king of the cul-de-sac. 3) Coke is the classier choice. Not only is it older, but Coke undoubtedly (as advertisements have proven) increase one's sex appeal. You never see hot babes drink Pepsi. But you will see smooth, sharply-dressed men with well-shaved chins drive up in their fancy Ferraris to wink at the beautiful lady before taking a short sip of Coca-Cola. I'm a straight man, and damn I would tap him all the same. 4) Coke is badass. Secret agents from other companies have attempted to steal the secret formula of Coca-Cola, with varying degrees of success. Even the FBI gets involved in these. Willy Wonka anyone? As a sidenote, Pepsi once bought the secret formula off of Ebay, and then gave it back to Coca-Cola to kiss some ass. Pepsi trying to garner customers via goodwill is an obvious ploy, since they clearly can't sell a good enough product to succeed otherwise. 5) I happen to notice that the soda can closest to me a is a Coca-Cola. This immediately puts it in favor of the Pepsi that is across the room. I'm not gonna get up for a Pepsi, wtf. | ||
