People say that buying the red poppy supports our military and enables it, but people seem to have forgotten the idea that its simply a matter of respect and reverence for the dead. There is no glory in those who laid down their lives, only senseless loss, so in my opinion the red poppy is just as much a symbol for peace as any other. | ||

Gotta hate on the people making decisions to go to war not the survivors that are all but forgotten and old as fuck. mind you the Flanders fields poem kinda does tell us to keep fighting the Germans or our fallen soldiers will be zombies. | ||
