it would take a lot of heat to do that. like a lot.

plus shouldn't there be thermal sensors so the cpu's get throttled in situations like that?

That would imply that those were turned on
because software from dev didn't turn them off we swear. Updates break more things than fix them around here.

What's .net frame work? Not our software, We can probably turn it off. /s

w0t m8?

jesus, wtf.

The blind led the blind and proprietary software changed bios settings that caused thing to be abnormal, but wasn't caught until it go hot. i7s already run naturally warm. Add in Texas heat, inside a metal box with 5 other machines and its like an oven inside those things when the ac doesn't turn on. Add in other proprietary software that wasn't recording temps because the sensors were left unplugged at "dev requests".

It was a fun trip to micro center tho. Atleast that got done.

that's just god awful, i can't imagine too may scenarios where they would need to tinker with the temp management of a cpu bios... jesus... those poor i7's never stood a chance.

It was a fun phone call too. I got to call people out and tell them they are retarded and to ask for approval. Then I get to yell at the test team for also not reporting it during testing that the sensors were unplugged. I mean it's great and get to be mad about work stuff. Its usually just mad because work, but now I have a legit, " you idiots cost the company money" complaint.

But I didn't make the call" -stupid dev.

Oh.

Apparently playerbase is up over 150% right now with a LOT of people learning the game online.
Now would be an EXCELLENT time to start learning as you'd be on the same page with a lot of randoms for practice, which isn't usually the case.

How much were you paid to sponsor Skull Girls?

Also you guys were slow with the posts today. I'd be interested to see where this thread is in a year.

The 360 controller won't kill you. I promise.

I know, all of my old fighting game prowess is from playing various Soul Calibur/Marvel games on Playstations, so I'm no stranger to controllers. Unfortunately my computer has a serious issue with detecting drivers, a problem that has unfortunately also come to effect my fightstick.

And keyboard hurts my hands like a motherfucker.

I have no idea how to get it fixed QQ

I'll probably upgrade, but I wouldn't say I'm hyped for it since I don't have any issues with Windows 8.

That's all I've been using; I don't have any 360 controllers.
Like I said, the drivers aren't recognized. I'm pretty fluent with MotionInJoy on my old computer, so I know whether or not they should be working; and they're not
