You get to choose some subjects to be in your final exams. so like, do you get a grade in each course but you don't have to "write" an exam in each of them? So you can try and boost a low mark or pick a good one? The entire idea of answering just one question in 15 min to determine a large part of a science class grade obviously makes no fucking sense. Or do you just get one grade. what if you choose no science but then apply to a science school... Compared to the system here where you write a specific exam for each course 1.5-2hrs long worth like 20-40% of your grade in that class. So your physics exam would cover everything you covered in that course ideally. Other classes only have it cover what you have learned since the midterm. Your way seems to fall really short of actually evaluating someones knowledge. But grats on doing well! I mean, in the last year of high school you still study all the subjects and you can't fail in any of them, otherwise they're not gonna admit you to the finals. You get a grade separate for each subject. If you don't choose any science and then apply to a science school it means you're retarded and will probably fail the first semester. And yes, it doesn't really evaluate ALL of your knowledge on the subject, but it does evaluate your knowledge on the question you get. And yes, it doesn't really evaluate ALL of your knowledge on the subject, but it does evaluate your knowledge on the question you get. It kinda depends on the subject. With something like physics or math, it's possible to present a single question that actually does cover a broad range of understanding because of how fundamentally interconnected concepts are. Especially at a high school level, I don't think it's that hard to actually come up with a single question that demands an understanding of basically every concept you covered in the entire year to answer thoroughly. With something like the biological sciences, you kind of do have to test much more thoroughly than that to meaningfully determine mastery of the material. Mostly because there actually are a lot of disparate concepts that can individually be understood but don't necessarily imply mastery of any of the others, so evaluating some arbitrary subset of your knowledge doesn't correlate well to your overall understanding. GOG is a great service, they're just in a weird limbo state right now where they're rolling out their own external client that's not really ready, so both getting things through the site and through the client are kind of shit right now.

I had no luck with the beta gog galaxy downloader so i downloaded their old downloader which is "no longer supported" but random googled threads seemed to lead me to believe would be effective. seemed to be working but then i went to bed and when i woke up it had a checksum error message t.t.t.t so close to just torrenting it which aparently wont matter to galaxy client. then i can add it to steam like a normal game. curse my free shit making me go through them tho ![]()
