Anyone know where I can download a driver/help out? oh how weird, i had used a madcatz sf4 xbox 360 fight stick with no problems before.

For some xbox things you just make the computer recognise them as a normal controller, then remap buttons

Unstable Portal -> turn 3 Thaurissian.
How to automatically lose a game. That RNG. (Case in point: turn 6 Rag. Amongst other things.)

Gotta loosen up while playing. Maybe take a prescription dose of muscle relaxers before you take him on.

is there some advanced strategy to deckbuilding in touhou? I just included 4x the skills I wanna use just to level them up and then some 4 random cards. I guess including only 3x skills and then some supers to use later on in the fight would be more intelligent? Idk, anyone has any knowledge about this? Couldn't find any guides on internets
|
Wiki says stuff, but you usually look at the combos listed for the character and which skills they usually use.
Some are almost always better (Sakuya's default are more versatile then all of her alternates for example), some alternates are used in some situations or match-ups so you include the card but you don't always activate it, some are just bad.
You don't always want several copies or supers (especially the highly consuming supers; if you include one that's going to "consume" 4 other cards on top of it to use, you certainly won't include 4 of it in your deck, rather one or two).

actually went to see baby metal last night. they put on a good show.

Yeah, leveling a lot of skills just increases the damage by 10%. That's fairly low. Probably don't want 4 copies of the thing unless it's a skill I really need asap (and maybe don't need any copies of skills I start with unless they have some extra bonuses when leveling)

Maybe it's the link I used though. Do you have one?

It depends, yeah, some skills have different leveling bonus (shorter startup/recovery, more bullets, become air-usable, etc.). Note that 10% increase still is nothing to scoff at.

k, I desperately need a new SSD, thinking probably 512GB this time around (currently sitting on 64GB)
This one looks decent?
My biggest concern (or, consideration, I guess) is I'm not entirely how sure how easy copying an OS/data from my current SSD to a new one will be. It's not something I've had to do before.
|
Did you not have your data separate from your OS?
|
I mean, I've got most of my stuff on my HDD, which will stay there, but there are a few (fairly inconsequential) things on the SSD along with the OS.
edit - I guess I could just fresh install Windows... I forgot it's all digital now
|
Just do a fresh install. No point copying your OS across.
|
you can clone ssds pretty fast and easy if you just want to keep everything the same tho. you can buy an adapter to plug 2 in at a time or just plug them both in. need to dl some software tho i think. but if literally the ONLY thing on it is the OS might as well do a fresh install. that one does seem pretty good and relatively inexpensive. Id say the most popularly recommended one in the computer build thread on TL would be the Crucial MX100 for just a little more with comparable stats. not sure why, could be brand reliability.

My hori stick isnt working with SG either. I can get it to work on SF4 no problem at all, but i can't get SG to see it at all.
