It's because there's no "General Discussion" "Off-Topic Discussion' split like there is on LL. Originally there was a GD thread like the old TL LoL GD thread that served the function of both, but that was closed for posting quality reasons and the idea that on a full-fledged site, a "general discussion" thread is unnecessary because of how individual topics should be filtered out to their own topical threads wherever possible (not unlike the similar push to spread discussion topics out of GD on LL, though LL staff have been less inclined to outright remove the GD thread). So, when an OT thread was created, it more or less just subsumed the functions of the old GD thread, seeing as there's always going to be some talk about the game that doesn't really warrant it's own thread. Non-DotA discussion on that thread come up about as often as Costco Pizza, fish puns, and Pokemon came up in the old TL LoL GD thread before we split into 2 threads. | ||

Speaking of Dota, I click lina to run the fuck away, lina goes forward then turns and explodes at critical times. I'm terrible but that annoys me, just something I need to deal with or can I do something to stop that? | ||
