1. The Matrix
2. The Longest Day, amazing WWII movie, plus it has the Duke.
3. Hunt for Red October, I like and own every Tom Clancy novel.
4. Ghost in the shell, not as good as SAC, but still influential.
5. Blade Trinity, Bert Reynolds carries that movie though.

holy balls what a stressful yet incredibly productive afternoon

Hunt for Red October was so cool. I read some Clancy but never really got into it. I'm more a fantasy man myself. GitS I rewatched the other day. It's just fantastic. Need to rewatch SAC if I can find a copy of it to DL somewhere.

I never bother dl'ing stuff, there are enough streaming platforms out there lol

You have good internet. I can hardly stream 480p most days. Not going to watch something in that shit quality. Also got like 2TB(Well 500gb left) so I don't mind. Nice to keep track of what I have so one day I can actually buy the stuff. Be a productive member of society.

Also TDK is an amazing movie, I'd probably rank it top 5 all time on the "I enjoy watching this movie" scale. More of this kind of posting please, less condescension needed in this thread.

And yea, Supes/Bats trailer was kind of sucky, but I was hyped to see Batman in the exoskeleton similar to the "Dark Knight Returns" comic/animated film. That comic was literally my first "non Cartoon Network/WB" exposure to Batman. Unenlightened heathen.

In no particular order,
Atlas Shrugged Fountainhead Fight Club Inception
I'm probably forgetting like a dozen others

Also I tried super hard to think of thought provoking films and all I got was Dark Knight. Cheep, go ahead and give me a 0/10. I'll take it like a man.
I'm sure I could think of more if I really thought about it, but I think the more you decide to "think" about a film the more thought provoking it can be. Then again, I don't go out and watch a whole lot of films to begin with.
Congratulations! You've earned your first wave-bait!

Tolkien is a Republican what?

I do not know what LCR means.

The best metaphor I can think of is that they're like a black man supporting the KKK because he owns a sheet factory.

Okay that analogy makes me feel better.
Don't break my heart like that Tolkien.

Yeah, we pay out the nose and it still drops from time to time
Our ISP knows about it, but we live in an area that they know has connection issues, but "don't have a timetable for when it'll be fixed".
Fuck US ISPs...
