hah
I find it to be a really interesting dynamic. The writing is amazing and character interaction is great (although I really don't like Rachel). USA does such a great job rehashing the whole "gifted/observant main character faking his way through life" idea (Psych).
But at the same time, you end up rooting for the people that cause a lot of controversy in real life. They're corporate lawyers, helping the rich get richer. We hate them, but love them at the same time.

I have mixed feelings about Louis' character.

LeGuin is top notch.
She spans so many genres too, I liked Earthsea and most of the sequels, and I really like her sci-fi too. Haven't really delved too deeply into her super serous feminist works though.

people like strong smart people who get on with things. You know how everyone hates skyler from breaking bad? It's because she doenst do anything but worry about what other people are doing, she never tries to advance herself in any way at all. she's does nothing at all but cook some bacon and eggs for most of the show and annoy people by trying to make things happen by handing a pillow over to let people talk. people dont like lawyers and such because they make money on people less fortunate then them, but at the same time "less fortunate" also has a lot to do with having a lot less drive motivation wisdom and work ethic to get into the place the lawyers are in in the first place.

Louis cracks me up and is usually the one that will get an lol out of me. Sometimes the characters do things that are a little over the top (usually Louis and his nemeses) but it's not too bad and doesn't detract much from the show for me.

Louis is amazing. Again, a love hate relationship. He's incredibly petty and conniving, but at the same time, he's constantly getting the short end of the stick (often times because of the consequence of his actions, but other times just by virtue of who he is). I died when he said "Oh my god, I'm a Lannister..." (or something to that effect)
Also, pulling in GoT characters made me enjoy it even more (even though both Ms. Hessington and Darby can get annoying at times).
@Slayer - I haven't watched Breaking Bad, so that analogy was lost on me... And it's not so much the hatred of lawyers, although it is true, but the corporate lawyers who especially prey on the lesser fortunate and are generally bullies. USA doesn't even try to hide it either. Harvey and Mike have had their fair share of pushing the little guy around for their client. It's their job, sure, and they're great at it, but that doesn't stop us from resenting their type.
Also, Jessica is really starting to get on my nerves.

I dislike Mike a lot. He's basically God but is incapable of actually doing things right. Don't understand how that is possible. I could understand it if it was the whole too talented so doesn't know what to do in life but it's not even that. Mike is basically a walking database with zero talent that spits out ideas until he finally gets a good one. If he had an ounce of ability he would be ruling the world lol.

He remembers anything he's ever read. That doesn't necessarily translate into BEING a lawyer. He's still learning. Understanding and executing are two vastly different things.

I've only just finished season 2 but Jessica has gotten progressively less and less likable as a character throughout this season. At least I'm much more cognizant of not liking her lol. Power/Control thing.

I like the insult "Bonebag" (taken from a canceled American TV series Traffic Light).
Really subtle and imo quite genius mix of douchebag and bonehead, without any actual aggressive profanity.
I've also in my free time been watching X-Files for the first time. As a kid, the theme song freaked me out.
Marry me Scully.
