The series was pretty good, to the point where I really wanted to know where the movie took it. After watching the movie I was pretty meh on it and the 'finale' overall. Would still recommend.

So uh my Flash cart finally arrived after 2 weeks (they didn't tell me this was gonna ship from Hongkong lol). It's actually not too bad, because I can use it to play NDS games - which is basically what I wanted anyway.
This will give me the option to play FE 10 and 11 (there seems to be an unofficial translation of 11), Pokemon gen 5 (if I really want to), and there is also a FF1 remake on the NDS which I was not aware of. In any case, I think that's enough to sink 200 hours of my time for sure.
Not confident that it'll play 3DS games, but w/e.

I know you really don't focus a lot on the story in this game, but it's really worth your time to go to youtube and look up lore videos (multiple people do them, they're pretty decent and in-depth), they don't take a lot of time and really make the game a lot better. If you're ever looking for something to do.

NDS flash carts don't play 3DS games unless you got one of the newer 3DS-specific flash carts. Most of them still cost $50+ so you should know from the price what you got.
I don't recall there being an FF1 remake on DS--only FF3 and FF4.

Watching this closely his attacks are slightly different...this can't be on PC so the port really must be inferior then.

Bravely Default is the spiritual successor to FF:4HoL. They have some conceptual overlap, comparable visual style, and some enemy models were reused.
It's a pretty mediocre game, though (and does this really annoying thing where your party is split up for extended periods of time). Given how many other good NDS games you can play on a flash cart, i'd say it's pretty far down on the list of games you'd play on it.

I haven't been in that area in a looooooooooooooooooong time, and I have yet to get there on PC, so I'm not sure. I should play through the entire game again on PC just to note any major differences, but yes, the port is pretty shitty after having played, and beaten in, on console.

The dogs were just from a different path.
Anyway the video was the fight with some of the cut dialog they gave Artorias. It's kinda depressing but I wish they would have kept some of it in.

Sif actually recognizes you as the guy who put Artorias out of his misery after he became corrupted, if you kill Artorias before Sif. There's even an alternate cutscene.

Comment on the first wing of naxx since I wasn't able to do it when relevant: I wish they added more interesting mechanics/hero powers/situations. The AI for the normal mode should have been given a bit better cards I feel. Additionally, the class challenges are way too easy and not innovative. I had fun against the last heroic boss since I don't have many cards so coming up with a deck was fun. I beat all of the normal bosses with zoo as well as the second heroic boss. I used a "value" druid deck for the first heroic boss.
