It's never about 'liking someone better as a friend,' it's simply, 'I don't like you like that,' or 'I don't want to date you.' I dunno that shit really bothers me. I value honesty above most things. Most of the time the person pining for the person who only wants to be friends won't be able to handle just being friends.
