My super pack of 200mg pills of caffeine didn't come in yet but I found old samples of pre-workout from the years of protein I've bought. 160mg + garbo amino acid filler was enough to keep me wired despite doing back to back workout days, having a shit day at work, and not sleeping that well last night cuz its a billion degrees and I turned my AC off to save money
9-7-5-7-9 reps of deadlifts @ 135,145,155 rotated with 9-7-5-7-9 unweighted vertical crunches 9-7-5-7-9 reps of seated cable rows @ 80,90,100 rotated with some new-age iso shoulder behind the neck push machine (all the benches were taken) @ 70,80,90
This was 2 hours ago and I'm still wired
Gonna take a rest day and then alternate the above with squats/decline situps + bench/lats every other day until next Tuesday and then I go on a trip where I'm not going to sleep, eating garbage food every meal, and probably working 20 hrs a day
Also someone once told me its bad to work opposing muscle groups at the same time but I feel more efficient that way since basically I'm stretching one thing while working the other and can power through sets with < 60s rest
Hopefully you're getting to the gym relatively early if you're taking the big boy pills. Caffeine half-life is ~6hours, and at 200mgs you're looking at a pretty healthy amount remaining free in your system even 9 hours after taking.

Yay! So I'm gonna do a viewer giveaway to celebrate the 100 follower milestone as soon as I finish the game. Going to pay it forward in a way and give away a copy of Dark Souls 2. I've set the rule that in order to be eligible you have to be following my stream and on the stream when I give it away, and it will be sometime before Saturday during my normal streaming hours. I can't guarantee it but I would love to give it away to a TLer over some rando (I do want to be fair) so whether you guys take this as advertising or whatnot, you should hit follow on my stream at some point soon and come hang out with us.
In other Dark Souls related news, apparently the first DLC for Dark Souls 2 comes out tomorrow. Do you guys think it's worth buying or waiting for some sort of DLC bundle when all the other ones (apparently there's 3 total planned?) come out?
if you're doing that many unweighted vertical crunches, aim for lower reps and lower sets, and do more difficult variations of the squat. such as assisted 1 legged squats.

Why does he need more difficult variations of the squat?

Why does he need more difficult variations of the squat?
because he'll be doing lower reps and lower sets, saves on time, and builds stronger muscles.

He could just, you know, squat with heavier weight?

that works too, but i just figured since he's doing unweighted squats, he'd like to stick with body weight squats or whatever.

He mentioned 'only squatting 1 plate' in an earlier post, I'm pretty sure he's just doing standard back squats, and wants to get back to his former 2 plate glory.

oh wait, nvm. i'm retarded. i read the unweighted crunches as unweighted squats, nvm. ignore me, i fail..
It was late at night. Wave's eyes were fixed on his computer screen. He held an X-Box controller in his hands pale hands. His fingers deftly pressed buttons and pushed joysticks with a mechanical determination, movements that were natural to him after his many years of gaming. His familiarity with the controller had served him well, as he scanned the area around his character. The character was in dark room of stone, standing calmly in the center while multiple slain ghosts moaned and faded away around him. Wave had done it. He had cleared the giant room of ghosts, signalling the progress he struggled so hard to attain in the damp ruins of New Londo. He paused a few moments, half of him soaking in the victory, while the other half warily surveying the area in the hopes that no more enemies were in his vicinity. Wave peered through the opening in the room into the dark passage beyond, where a ladder was barely seen, resting innocently against the far wall. Wave gulped, realizing what it meant. He knew how close he was. A drop of sweat rolled slowly, dramatically down his brow, off of his nose, and splashing onto the desk in front of him. Wave steeled his resolve.
With the precision of an veteran surgeon, he lightly tilted the joystick forward, and his character began slowly walking forward into the dark opening. The tension was taut enough to be severed by a knife. Wave pushed the joystick a little further; his character picked up speed, rushing down the dark passage toward the ladder at the far end. Sweat was now pouring down Wave's forehead. He clutched his controller with the iron grip of a man possessed. He even forgot to breathe as he failed to pick up the movement around his character. He had eyes only for the ladder. Wave's character was now dashing desperately towards the ladder, nearly surrounded by ghosts which had started to pour out of the walls, flooding the area. Ethereal scythes cut swiftly across Wave's field of vision, but he only spurred his character onwards through the murk. After what had seemed like an hour, Wave successfully navigated through the throng of ghosts, only growing in number and agitation as Wave set his hand on the first wooden rung of the ladder. Time was shorter now than ever before; hand over hand, foot over foot, he swiftly ascended the ladder, which was now surrounded on all sides by stone walls. Wave could see the exit at the top. Light poured in, giving him hope as he continued climbing. He could taste the bonfire. Until a ghostly blade came through the wall, knifing Wave brutally in the backside and immediately killing him. Wave's eyes failed to register the gory scene. His character lost the strength to hold onto the ladder and plummeted back towards the dark floor far below, landing with a pathetic crunch as the angered ghosts swarmed over his prone, lifeless body.
-You Have Died-
The sun was out and shining as Wave's character respawned upon the wild grass of Firelink Shrine. Wave looked away from his computer screen for the first time in hours, gazing upwards at his ceiling with glazed eyes while he reclined in his black leather chair. His arms hung limp and useless over the armrests. He stayed like this for some time, looking but not seeing. He ran his hands through the rugged stubble on his chin, covered with grime and sweat. He blinked a few times. Then, with a loud groan, he heaved his body back upright on his chair and looked at his twitch chat. All he could see was Scipaeus saying "LOL OMFG WAVE IS SO BAD" and "LOL NICE PLOT WAVE LOLOLOL". Wave winced, but all the same, he picked his controller back up, assumed the proper claw-like grip, and drove his character back down the winding path towards New Londo. Some of the more attentive stream viewers, to this day, swear they heard him mutter "fucking euros" under his breath.

Go backwards. If you're lucky you get a 2-page quote in one go.
