It would be like calling xin zhao 'seneschal.' I mean, the generic ass title are just as arbitrary as their made up "real" names :p. I think it works in Dota.

It would be like calling xin zhao 'seneschal.' Dota 2 actually only has one name. It's just a carry over from War3 where heroes had names and titles. New people tend to just start picking up on it since older folk still use it.

They're 100g each but aren't at risk of dying to a hero instantly or anything. Until someone gets a huge right click they generally take 3 or so hits each to kill. Also, sending a hero to stop Visage birds that he can just resummon at himself for the fight they're going to force with you across the map is a perfectly acceptable outcome. Every couple minutes they just do it over again when the aura+bird timers are ready. The birds are also stupid strong in teamfights for the same reason and will absolutely rip apart supports.

Merlini/LD are two of the best Dota casters imo, Merlini's knowledge is amazing since he was one of the top players in the West, and is still one of the top NA players, he also randoms every game he plays, so he's a bro. LD's voice/casting is just soothing I guess? I also hate League casters, they are all crap imo and so hard to listen too since they rose-tint everything and refuse to call out stupid plays/calls.

LCS casters* though I would say some of them are starting to be more critical like Kobe.

Monte always comes off to me as using his position as a caster to try to show everyone how smart he is. i really dislike his commentary for that. and his voice bugs me.

Also Deman's been critical for quite some time, Kobe's starting to become more, and Deficio, well... I remember this Gambit game where Genja refused to buy Last Whisper and at 4-5 points in the game Deficio expressed bafflement at him still not having one, and he ended up with things like cutting his sentences, or saying "I can't comment this game anymore". His frustration and will to facepalm felt tangible. ![]() One Morrigan out. D: The happy birthdays too strong in that fight.
