Well, I can't speak too much to Greek life since I have no experience with it, but at Springfield, we had "sport houses". Some seniors of a team would get an off campus house, and that would be the general party spot for that team and mostly whatever other people wanted to come by.
So there was a gym house, swim house, rugby house, etc. It was a community thing (although we already had a sense of community thing because we were all on the same team), and it was a small campus, so most parties were the same, just at a different location.
