You could probably legitimately go to a con and get like 30 numbers doing just that. If you could pull off a British accent, that might not be an exaggeration. Does not work when everyone has a British accent. Also, there are lots of types of British accents too.
Well, a USA convention then. But if you're at a US convention then the type doesn't matter. Accents just win.

It was also the first time they really pulled off the "third edition which links together the other too" and made it feel really different. XY seems like it'll continue this trend since the leaks show that even before the first gym there is a massive variety in Pokemon.
The one thing I don't get is why we can't have Pokemon follow you around like in HGSS. That was by far one of the best mechanics ever.

Turns out drafts are really easy when you rip a Heliod and Whip of Erebos.
This set is a lot of fun though. I'm really psyched to see what kind of Standard deck I can throw together. Doing an online fake sealed with my bros. Opened Xenagos, Stormbreath Dragon, Medomai, Ashiok lol. Why isn't this real lifeeeee. I actually don't think Medomai is that good :[ Sounds hilarious for commander tho.

Gen 5 had so many QoL things, but the one thing I miss is the Poketch from Gen 4. That was the best use of the second screen bar none imo.

I do mostly mean R/S/E as far as bad. FR/LG were probably great, but I never got them. R/S/E though... I dunno, the Pokemon seemed really boring to me and the graphical quality was right between charmingly retro and next-gen awesome (which finally hit on Gen IV) so much that I never really got into it. I also just didn't like Hoenn. I honestly couldn't tell you why.

The worst feeling is when a friend tells you a story and it's awesome, and then you try and tell that story to your other friends and it's really awkward.
The story of how I watched the Marvel movies was awesome. I told myself that I wouldn't watch the Avengers until I saw all the other movies. I won a trip to see some Japanese idols which meant a 12 hour plane flight to Tokyo. I did not expect it to, but it had all the Marvel movies on demand, so that entire flight was me catching up to watch the Avengers.
Then I saw the Avengers a few months later and it was just alright.

Mijumaru/Oshawott is like the best starter ever. And he's totally got the best personality too. Have you seen the guy? Totally cool.
Poketch was ok but Dowsing Machine way inferior to Gen V Itemfinder. It no longer feels like a hassle and finding hidden items is now fun!

I really disliked DPP and RSE felt so much more complete to me. HGSS is what made Gen IV work imo.
Gen III is also the Gen that introduced the most out of any of the others. It completely revamped the IV/EV system, introduced Abilities, Natures, you actually had a Father, new breeding mechanics, Ribbons, Pokemon Contests, expanded post-game content, Berry growing, Double Battles, getting a second starter Pokemon for free, Move Tutors and a legal Mew.
Like, that's totally awesome.

Also, Gen 3 was when Game Freak got the picture about making starters that don't suck.
Unfortunately, that hasn't stuck.

Important facts as only Yango could discern.

I had one... probly my most played GBA because I was riding the bus to work at that time.

If it was a regular GBA it would need some goofy lights around the screen.

Oh right, I forgot about the GBA SP's screen being backlit, which was the only real legitimate selling point for it over the normal GBA.
