Golden Cookie income far exceeds Red Cookie income by the time you have the option. The key is banking about a day's worth of CPS so that Lucky Cookies give you the maximum possible amount of CPS. Normal Lucky Cookies give you ~20 min worth of passive CPS while Lucky Cookies picked up during a Frenzy boost can give you up to 2 hours worth of passive CPS from a single Cookie. Golden Cookie clicking with banked CPS is basically the only way to actually get the late-game upgrades/achievements in a humanly reachable amount of time. | ||

The only way to avoid this trap is to solve the game. Since everything has flat cookie cost and only modified cookies per time additively or multiplicatively, the closed system has a fairly straightforward optimization solution. Find the solution and thus even with learning AIs, you have achieved the method by which a perfect computer will perfectly play out the game. You have then beaten the game without even playing it.
