you can argue complexity depth but it doesnt mean you can't make any comparisons.

In poker, you just pray to the RNG gods your hand is better than theirs or try to bluff your way to victory. Woah, Calm yourself. Poker has much more depth to it than you give it credit for, and while yes there is argueably more RNG involved by no means is there less skill and outplaying going on. There are reasons why people are 4-5-6 time WSOP champions, and I can promise you it's not because they "Ran Hotter" or were the best liar at the table.

The best lose at Pro Tours SOME TIMES because they get flooded or starved of not only lands but some times spells or creatures. The whole point of deck building is to minimize this. The RNG things I don't normally like in card games like the 50/50s, coin flips for effects, ect are actually very welcome for me in hearthstone. It brings an element of FUN to a series of games where normally I feel like I'm playing Vs Someone's Brain rather than a Person who's sitting across from me. I think HS has a chance at being competitive even with these effects, it's just a matter of people manning up and getting over the fact that Lady Luck isn't always on your side. Guitar by proxy you are better than LS: @ggCMonteCristo breaks my HS streak of 20-0! T_T I think part of the complaint about HS RNG is that you can't react to what players are doing on their turns. It's different and completely fine, imo, blizz has done it pretty well. But I also understand why people wouldn't be used to it.

Still not 100% today, but I've got stuff I need to do. I may procrastinate or complain often, but I take my job seriously and output quality work. =P edit: in other words + Show Spoiler + chips? chips chips chips chips

Hearthstone: I'm trying to get better with that reynad aggro warrior. I usually just play whatever I have quests for but I thought maybe I'll try to get proficient with one deck and its matchups. Do you autolose to zoo without a great hand and theirs sucks? I'm sure it's winnable but I feel like my deck has zero ways to anti-snowball (pretty much no aoe). I'm contemplating a whirlwind (meh) or I could craft a brawl. It's not in the decklist, I'm sure for a reason, I'm just wondering if I just need to accept the loss as some of my losing percentage to the field or if I'm doing something fundamentally wrong when I play the matchup.

What's it like comparatively? mushishi really benefits from having a studio budget bring it to life as an anime. odds are you'd like the manga, but there's no need to go out of your way to read it unless you want stories beyond what's covered thus far in the anime or have a strong preference for manga over anime in general On April 11 2014 22:09 Nos- wrote: I think someone mentioned Wolf Guy? That manga got real fucking dark towards the end, like... man what was with that + Show Spoiler + rape thing yeah...wolf guy is borderline ichi the killer at times, which itself is, well, ichi the killer. not worth the read in my opinion, akumetsu is by far that author's better work the topic of more 'extreme' manga (and the mention of air gear a few pages back) brings to mind fire candy, which i oddly enough enjoyed reading but WOULD NOT recommend to most
