It makes me happy. Anyone read The Shape of the Nightmare to Come/ The Age of Dusk (and the related works)? One of my favorite 40K continuation fanfics. Waiting for my next fix. Are those fanfics or Black Library novels? I haven't had time to buy the 40k books, but I hear they're quite good depending on which author worked on them. I just love the 40k lore. I bought Nemesor Zahndrekh and Vargard Obyron almost purely because they're really cool lore characters in the Necron Codex. On September 30 2013 22:11 AsmodeusXI wrote:Just started The Last of Us. Yeah I've been digging through Doctor Who on Netflix. I really liked the 9th doctor a lot, but David Tennant hits his character so well that I can't help but love him. I just finished The Last of the Time Lords, really enjoying the series so far. I want to finish the "new" Doctors before I go back and watch the old series.

You're pretty much required to like Tennant because he's just so charismatic in the role, but I'm glad to hear you like Eccelston. Not as many people do and I actually loved him a bunch. I'll be curious to hear what you think of Matt Smith, but I'm a huge fan of him as well. Basically I love Doctor Who. So good. (I still haven't gotten around to the old stuff myself... even though I've caught up with everything else)
And yeah, I'm psyched to keep going through it, long PS3 load times aside. As a spoiled member of the PC master race, I was all "I've been waiting a LONG time for this..." Still worth.

PS3. Bought one last Black Friday to get it for the Blu-ray and Infamous 1+2 and Uncharted 1+2. That TLOU was an exclusive was just my luck. But damn them load times. Never experienced before but wow do they exist. Still doesn't matter that much though.

But yeah if you enjoy Uncharted 1/2, 3 is still pretty solid. I think 2 is the best in the series by far, but 3 was a nice conclusion and a great experience. Infamous is one of my favorite sandbox series, but they're a bit short storywise. But yeah finish TLOU first.
There's a couple other good exclusives now that you have one - MGS collection, KH 1.5, Killzone, Blazblue, FLOWER, Little Big Planet - depending on what you like.

On the topic of PS3s, I have mine hooked up to my monitor with an HDMI, I got the video and all but there's no audio. There's this headphone jack or something on the back of my monitor but no sound from the PS3's being fed into that, any ideas?
|
HDMI should transmit both sound and video (and 3D if you have it configured). Are you going through an audio system or straight from the PS3 to the TV?
|
Straight from my PS3 to my monitor, not a TV though

On September 30 2013 23:22 Nos- wrote: Straight from my PS3 to my monitor, not a TV though Oh. Uh, hrm. I've never done that before, but IIRC if you're talking about speakers built onto a monitor, those are generally separately wired and need their own hookup.

TL app broke for me a long time ago. Which is a shame, cuz I loved it. Idk if it's been fixed since.
Get Nimble Quest - it's snake but better.
I don't use THAT many apps tbh

apple users plz go
The mobile version of TL is nice enough that I don't particularly want for an app, though you can tell it's a bit incomplete. Galaxy user, the only apps I really have are Chrome Browser, Reddit Is Fun, Imgur Gallery, a Chan browser, and some games.
