If you literally only take the time during plays the game would be really short, but the play clock is the length it is to allow player substitutions and pre-snap adjustments. I kind of want to give that cliche 'it would be more fun if you understood at least a little of what is going on' type of statement that I was given when I was beginning to watch soccer(I know, football, but this would be a really confusing conversation really quick), and it was actually very true that as I learned even the basics of the game I found a lot more entertainment in the 'random' passing and movement around the pitch. The reason I won't though is that the basic understanding of American football is in watching the plays themselves, and all the in between and pre-snap stuff is actually pretty in depth knowledge, so I can see why people just don't care enough to get into it and don't find the 15-20 minutes of actual action fulfilling enough to watch for 2-3 hours. | ||

Damn. Really clean paint job. Maybe it's the lighting, the main thing I notice here is that you're using a matte black foundation with a faded silver scheme which means the overall paint job is very plain. The individual components and features all seem to blur into each other when you're looking at it. I think there's scope to additional highlights to accentuate stuff (such as the indents between the segments on the crescent frame of the body, or a lighter blue neon glow on the power cables). A really thin gold trim on the corner edge thing of the crescent would look good too and help break up the shape of the ship. Would be good things to focus on for the next layer of paint. A minor note as well: the blue base layer on the power cable doesn't go all the way to the base which might be awkward after you apply the second highlight layer?
