I watched The Raid Redemption (thanks to someone in this thread mentioning it) and it was fuuuucking amazing. And made me lose all the respect I had for Dredd. Both movies are great in their own respect. Dredd's ending was absolutely perfect imo. That subtlety in the end was amazing. The fight choreography for Raid Redemption was so good, Penchak Silat is such a great looking martial arts. The Raid tried to be too much and there're only so many times I could watch someone get punched and not get bored. Dredd was fun and entertaining. Please. Raid did action scenes infinitely better than anyone in Hollywood with 1/100th of the budget.

This is oddly coincidental that he just reviews this NOW after it being out forever. Love this guy though.

Your post pleases me. Nice painting as always. I also digged the picture of the winter wonderland that you posted awhile back. It was pretty.

A danish player fell in the denmark vs scotland match, he knocked the thingy he was sweeping for out of the way as well, turning a clear 1/2 point end for denmark into a 2 pointer for scotland, throwing a 5-1 (plus last stone) lead in the 6th end. I'm still pissed about that T.T edit: sorry, denmark vs great britain. The danish commentators kept slipping up and calling it denmark vs scotland, because it was an all scottish team. Rather amusing given the whole independence row in the uk row now ![]()

In fact it's beyond moronic, I've curled with 6 year olds who knew better. You can see he tries to put his right foot over the red rock, which is what everyone would do, but he isn't wearing a gripper on the other foot so suddenly he's just standing on nothing but his sliding foot, throw in a bit of backwards momentum and he's toast. Lucky he didn't hit his head on a rock, that would be pretty serious. edit: wow the women's final is on right now! 8th end stones need to be measured to see who scored... comes up in Canada's favour. We can hope for a classic game of tied with hammer coming home. The Canadian rock was measured as about 0.2mm closer than the Swedish rock.
