yeah that was awesome - the CBC streams I've been watching have been pretty good quality, I just wish I could access them while still being able to use my internet
edit: they've also got great variety - can watch anything live that's going on with no issues
NBC should learn from them instead of trying to be like HBO (which is another company that just does not get it)

Get them chocolate and they'll get jealous of other girls who didn't get it because they're convinced these are slimmers than themselves as a result.

HBO puts out great content which I have no problem paying to see.
Currently they have game of thrones, treme just ended, real time with ball maher, real sports with bryant gumbel, true detectives might be good it's on episode four or five and they run a number of excellent documentaries. What's wrong with charging for a good product?
Also nbcsports has had live Olympic coverage everyday... I watched the hockey game this morning and they have men's figuring skating on now.
*oh yeah boardwalk empire and I'm still probably missing a couple that I enjoy watching.

yeah, NBC has coverage, but you need cable to view it, which I do not
I am, however, a moron. I'll just set up my laptop with the proxy and have it next to me while I'm on desktop

Aw man a figure skater using back in black for his short program just fell twice. This makes me sad.

The nbc thing wasn't at you. Just the complaints about live coverage. I do like hbo though.
It seems like the storm fucked atlanta so hard compared to the cities used to dealing with weather. Atlanta's traffic is horrendous without any weather at all. Mixing those congested, backed up, traffic jam highways with the elements seems like a call in sick day.

Valentines Day a day later is best Valentines Day. Can recommend with others it's a fun movie to watch.
Afterwards I thought how amusing it would be if everyone in this thread who liked the movie were at a sing-along showing together.

I honestly have no problem paying a premium for good channels. I use HBO, Showtime, HD channels, etc.

im glad canada got its shit together and started playing less shaky than in the first. its scary that there is so much offensive checking because our old guys are gonna get hurt. im glad we didnt play a scary team first it looks like we really needed this to get it together.

guess I'll switch over to hockey then, curling just finished 2nd end anyway
although there are some pretty girls on the canada/swiss curling teams

True Detective is like the best show to ever grace Television. Breaking Bad has nothing on this show. NOTHING. Except for like, silly pizza throwing antics.
