If your mid/jungle is roaming top/bot (especially bot) for a gank and you're the top/bot laner, you typically want to be engaging before they arrive unless you're 100% sure that it's not warded or you're so low you'll die instantly if you do. Because chances are we're going to step on a ward before we get there and they're going to run away before the fight starts. If you plan to start a fight right around the time your ganker gets to their ward, not only does it make it more difficult for them to get away, but it takes their eyes off the minimap and makes them less likely to notice somebody coming through tribush behind them. For example, say I'm mid purple side and I'm roaming bot through the enemy tribush. You want to engage on them around when I get vision of their tribush. You do NOT want to wait for me to walk through the bush and start the fight myself. | ||

As for the end of that game, I feel like Roffles/I threw when the mid T2 went down. Roffles called for a fight when Zyra was still at fountain shopping for I think an oracles or pinks or something, then I landed a Q on the Ult'd Croc and just mashed the Part 2 because in my head I was saying "If I hit VAYNE, I'm going." Some how Vayne turned into Hit Q= Go. I felt I did ok despite dying to aura after the 2v2 skirmish top we had were I walked back through lane and thought I had enough time to do wolves then town with enough money for boots + ward so I could wall hop dragon and go at the vayne who already had a 10-11 cs lead at the 4-5 minute mark. Unfortunately, Aura came and jack'd me up for my double buffs. I lost all momentum at that point. I need to up my lee jungle play. Its REALLY rough if you don't get that 3-4 minute gank right. | ||

To try to yank this on topic, the last game I played last night I get wrecked by DURR's Lee ganking us repeatedly. I only had tribrush warded (was purple), where else should I have put one? What should I have done differently? | ||
