Hello!
I have recently received some new computer parts and I am now able to stream at a pretty high quality. I figured I would make a stream thread to let people on TL know when I am streaming. I am a featured streamer on CLG so you can find me either through CLG's website or Solomid's website (they have a list of streams there as well)
I streamed in the wee hours of the morning (EST) yesterday for the first time in about a year and had a lot of fun chatting it up with people on IRC and losing with Honver on my team. Unfortunately I will be out of town until Monday and then moving into a new apartment during the following week so my time streaming will be limited for a while. However, once I get situated and start up classes I hope to be streaming regularly. I'll post a streaming schedule once things settle down.

I hope this doesn't mean you will stop using the dropbox for your replays. For me, there is no better resource. Does this thread also mean that the commentary thread will be combined into this one, or will you maybe start that up again as well as a separate thing?

Actually I think what makes the most sense would be to make a youtube channel. With my new computer I could actually stream a replay and provide commentary and upload that to youtube (the issue stopping me earlier was the fact that I couldn't capture the video of the replay so I couldn't record audio and video at the same time). It would streamline the process a ton. I will keep the dropbox available and refresh the replays in it every once in a while as well. It should be relatively up to date and working, is it? Combining the threads probably does make the most sense, I'll talk to Neo/Fakesteve about it.

Yeah, I regularly see new replays in there. You upload them in batches, right? Or at least, that is how it appears in dropbox.
If I may offer a counterpoint to the youtube suggestion, what I liked about the replay+voice was that 1) It was a small package with great quality and 2) It gave me a bit more control over in-game control, so I could bring up the score board to see kills and CS, examine the map, etc.
The downside to this, obviously, was the sync issue. Of course, it is up to you which course you take but depending on the trouble, perhaps you could do both?

Loci, when do you recommend starting Regrowth + 1 hp pot and when cloth + 5 hp pot or boots 1+3pot with nasus? Also what makes you run exhaust over TP on nasus? I find the 'free' buy invaluable on nasus.
Also why do you level spirit fire that much? Do you find it that much better than pumping Q? Or is it because at low elo you can just get away with Q heavy?
Another question; if you get FB/great farm top and laning versus like a cho'gath or something, is it worth it NOT to down the tower quickly but to keep it there to farm longer?

@BouBou: I almost always just start cloth + 5 pots. You can usually get away with regrowth against champions who have weak early game laning. Leveling spirit fires gives you lane control and allows you to push the lane heavily. This is very advantageous as it lets you either gank other lanes or simply push down the other players' tower if they can't push back. It's almost always worth it to get their tower asap. The earlier you get a tower the better. 100+ gold is much more effective early on than it is later in the game.

I love listening to classical while I play, same kinda relaxing feelings as jazz but I personally like it more. You should try putting on some nice piano/chamber selections.

Yeah jumping on people right on their face is pretty epic, I think it hit him for 750 damage. I had 100+ AP and 1k base at lvl 3. Pretty funny. Unfortunately next game my pc crashed =(.

I really enjoy watching your stream. Very chill. You talk about mistakes etc. I used to watch roku's stream because of all the talking but he doesn't stream anymore. Also you play weird shit in lanes and do well. Much better than watching hotshot lose games by trolling with tryn. Find a team and put it in front of your name and your stream will get more viewers (or change the name to 2400+ or something, I wouldn't be surprised if browsers don't know what your elo is).

I was close enough to try it, and if it worked I get it and go back. If it didn't work I would still have to go back, I was too low to do any other creeps. You don't lose gold when you die nor does the enemy get experience. The only difference from that and going back is that I have a ~15 sec death timer instead of a 8 second recall. It was worth it to try to kill it.

He gets the max level to needed to kill the range creeps in the back in 1 shot then the maxes Q I believe

I am pretty sure it depends on the lane. If its a pure farmfest against a hard lane pusher better to max W imo. But in lanes where he has the opportunity to gank or get kills I would start maxing Q after I reach the level where I can 1 shit ranged creeps. I think I saw him do this too. Mb my reasoning is wrong. Lets see.

I actually agree with Kaniol... I love the chill feeling of his stream(his laid back commentary/lack of rage, the music selection), but it's just 'quiet.' I have to turn my system volume way up to hear him, then if I do anything else I go deaf. I'm not sure how he solves this, never streamed before.

(TBH it's not that i will stop watcing your stream, it's just that i dislike watching stream when the streamer is in queue, some streamers - like you, gman bob, tree eskimo - try to make it less boring for people who watch the stream but let's be honest, most of us tune into another stream until our fave streamer finds a match but one wants to know exactly when you find a new game and it's hard to do when your stream is way quieter than other streams)

I think buying lots of wards isn't always a good thing, you can't always make them worth while, enough to stop ganks is usually enough unless you have a plan.

People are interested enough in junglers with AoE disables that Alistar and Cho'gath are both champs I see (or play!) decently often in the jungle. Shen's taunt is a fantastic aoe disable, the rest of his kit just doesn't really work with it well enough anymore.

1) Magic pen reds, mana per level yellows, flat mana blues, movespeed quints

3) I don't like RoA on him, I prefer to make banshee's with my cata. the spellvamp on wota is very strong, and their AD carry wasn't that strong yet so no point spending 1200 to finish frozen heart

I like the madreds on ram, but I don't think I agree with finishing the wriggles, the life steal doesn't do much, and well wards are good and all, but I think spending 415 gold for stats you don't want is enough. Also I'm not sure what runes he uses (if they are like saints) but I use arp red and flat armor for the rest. This lets me kill two wolves at wolf camp without help before blue, putting me close to pheonix udyr jungling speed.

wriggle's is stupidly, stupidly efficient. I actually can't even justify not upgrading to wriggles on Warwick anymore. Bloodrazor is just a shitty item and for 600 extra gold, you can get 8 AD, 7 Armor, an additional 5% chance for procs, and a free ward every 3 minutes. Even completely ignoring the lifesteal, the item is good. And rammus does seriously attack enough to justify that lifesteal IMO, adds a lot of sustainability.

Hey Loci, that last game as pantheon (10/4/3) who did you lane against? I didn't catch the early game, but you were already something dumb like 7/1/1 at level 10.

I was against rain man teemo, he was laning against me because voyboy (gragas) would have been crushed by me in lane. However I ganked top at lvl 4 and then was all over the map post 6, so i managed to pick up 7 kills pretty quickly.

Sorry friends, it appears the reason that Loco is on my stream is because my Owned stream was through CLG and they must have given him my stream. Therefore since TL is linked to that Owned account he is now showing up as me.
This would most likely mean that I will need to get a new owned account to stream and link that to TL. I'm pretty busy with work right now and moving but I'll see what I can do over the weekend.
I can't really be upset considering the fact that I simply don't have the time to play this game anymore. =(

Yeah it's on purpose =D. I stared using Ionians a while ago but I didn't like doing it because there was no way to get tenacity, but with the new health + tenacity jungle item it's perfect. I like going utility a lot actually.
Utility gives you:
--early cdr for ult (about 9% with 9 0 21)
--move speed of about 380 without boots (you can jump straight into damage items without getting run away from in the mid-game.)
--extra gold to start d-blade in lane with pot + biscuit so your lvl 6 gank is d blade + brutalizer
Personally I think utility is stronger with Panth's kit then offense.
You should try it.
