I'm glad he's in the finals, it was either him or Hero who can give Serral the best fight this tourney.

He’ll hit an attack that as an observer you go ‘why the fuck are you?… oh you won’ quite frequently. And if it’s confusing when you have all the observer information, imagine how confusing it is when you’re facing him with incomplete information. A guy like Stats is the polar opppsite and plays the percentages solidly, it’s just their respective styles. Stats and herO in the abstract may benefit from occasionally doing the opposite to their natural game, but it’s just not their natural game and they’re not great at it. I think only really Trap and Classic (historically) were so rounded as players they could pivot from aggression to passive macro pretty comfortably. Hey, TvP clinic from Clem anyway! Damn impressive, on aggregate I think herO played well enough that it doesn’t really feel like a 4-0, and I consequently wouldn’t be super critical of how he approached it. I mean, Clem showed me what I already know by watching him battling against MaxPax all these months. herO played well-enough, but we all know Protoss isnt winning in a fight against Terran army with mid-game tech if both players are on similar skill level. Disruptor/Colossi Gateway isnt the answer against Bio Ghost Lib Viking if all you do is taking the frontal fight.

I don’t think it’s hugely uneven either but there’s quite a few factors I’d say skew it slightly towards Serral. Clem has a 3-0 this very tournament in his favour also, but Serral does have the historic head-to-head, as well as this being yet another WC final for him, and Clem’s first. Regardless of who wins, I just hope it delivers on its immense potential as a matchup!

Maybe just gave a win to him as he was 100% not winning vs State or ZG with an army he had
