because we thought dark could compete while we were all mourning ragnaroks demise before the maps started

Not expecting the same from time though, hoping for a cool series.
And people critized me when I said that the worse player can beat a better player. It's just a fact.
I'm rootingfor Maru to win this whole torunament, he deserves a world championship
Undisputed GOAT if he wins.
Still an argument to be made for Rogue. He is after all the only one who has multiple of both Global Championships and GSL Championships.
I think it's pretty clearly Rogue but GOAT criteria seems to differ a lot depending on the person
See if someone answers with Rogue as the GOAT, I'll just say "good pick, but i think Maru is better for XYZ." and then the compromise will end up with Maru being the best GSL player ever and Rogue being the best offline Bo7 player in history.
If someone answers with anyone else, I'll just ask them "why?"
At this point in the story, they are the only 2 who in my opinion have a legit claim to the title.
The fact that Maru had success in the Kespa era unlike Rogue and Rogue also won mainly when Zerg was really strong puts Rogue out of the discussion imo
Yes pretty clearly Maru is already goat, Rogue couldn’t do much during the most competitive era and won mostly on the most favored zerg eras outside of 2012 broodlord infestor.
Nice series Maru, hopefully we get to see a nice TvP now!

Great point.
Very happy we are likely to get herO-Maru, I don't think anyone can disagree that they are the best performing players in *this* tournament.

To add to this, maru repeatedly hard carried his race while rogue is the most abusive player of all time.

The Zerg cabal has actually been the Terran/Protoss mafia all along.

I just dont buy that last sentence about being an "abusive player" like... that is the point of any competitive player.
