whoever is rigging it must have really perverse incentives cause Ionno who this benefits

I'm rootingfor Maru to win this whole torunament, he deserves a world championship

Undisputed GOAT if he wins.

Still an argument to be made for Rogue. He is after all the only one who has multiple of both Global Championships and GSL Championships.

I think it's pretty clearly Rogue but GOAT criteria seems to differ a lot depending on the person

See if someone answers with Rogue as the GOAT, I'll just say "good pick, but i think Maru is better for XYZ." and then the compromise will end up with Maru being the best GSL player ever and Rogue being the best offline Bo7 player in history.

If someone answers with anyone else, I'll just ask them "why?"

At this point in the story, they are the only 2 who in my opinion have a legit claim to the title.

Yeah, I'm happy that Ragnarok has made such a deep run but I do wish that Serral had stayed in that final game a bit longer so as to make for a more evenly matched semifinal.
Mutation complete.

Rough on RagnaroK, seems Maru really does have his number, that makes it 7-0 in their last two series?

Solar looked significantly better vs Maru. Keep trying to say that guy has elite ZvT, Ragnarok is getting better but he's just not at that level yet not in that match up anyway.

What makes this a brutal beatdown that was just hard to watch, while herO massacring Dark earlier was a fascinating showcase of talent? Both were totally one-sided 3-0s, but they felt so so different.

This comment being so late makes me think you didn't watch the series.

Time is not a low tier player, he just inst able to compete much cause of Visas. Heoutplayed Reynor and Reynor was SUPER tilted. Raynor got eliminated and last in his group the last time he went to GSL, it's not a surprise he can lose.

Serral sucks at ZvZ and in his arrogance refused to practice it before the torunament. All week he played very bad Zvz and almsot didn't maake it out of the group stage. Ragnarok ZvZ is actually very decent, and he deservedly beat Serral.

Disapointing series, Serral definitely would have given a tougher game.

I hope for Time to prevail now and then knock out Maru in TvT

The fact that Maru had success in the Kespa era unlike Rogue and Rogue also won mainly when Zerg was really strong puts Rogue out of the discussion imo

Maybe because we all knew the end of the match before it happened so we were just waiting to get through it, whereas Dark getting so thoroughly destroyed was unexpected?

Or maybe just because I wanted to see a Protoss win and Hero gave me what I wanted but Maru did not.

Or maybe because those Stasis Traps were objectively hype as fuck.
I bear this sig to commemorate the loss of the team icon that commemorated Oversky's 2008-2009 Proleague Round 1 performance.
