I don’t think ByuN can keep going he looks in so much pain and already used his « pause » :/

I wish there was a way for him to keep playing, but I seriously would start looking into other options. This looks miserable.

![]() Harry Kane why ruin my Liquibet streak? Much as I like ye ![]() Wrist issues aside, and frankly it must be partly psychological as he went to stream after today’s action, Cure just has a more solid TvT with how he transitions and techs. You have to play like an absolute god if you’re going aggressive bio/tank every single game. Notwithstanding wrists I said I’d have changed my vote to Byun if it was a Bo3 as I could see him blowing Cure away in a few games, but playing on that knife-edge for an entire Bo5 and the guy with the more solid and less high-risk, high-reward is going to make inroads. Great day of action nonetheless!

It might be me being used to groups but I do like players getting that second chance, as well as having to prep for multiple matchups and eventualities

Apparently he suffers far less from his wrists at home because he can setup the desk height / chair like he wants to, unlike at GSL studio (they are too poor to afford such desks / chairs? :|). Nonetheless, he should maybe stop playing for a few weeks like Maru and try to do something, because he could make the problem bad enough that it hinders him even after his sc2 career is over maybe?

It seems unlikely GSL wouldn’t accommodate such things as part of setup, I mean Flash’s ruler is more famous than many pro gamers after all. At least I hope they would provide for such things, it sure as hell beats pauses for wrist pain every time Byun is in the studio. I hope he can get on top of it as he’s a legend of the game and thrilling to watch, what makes him so good makes it hard to see how he can transition easily. Namely grinding out obscene amounts of games to hone his all-action style. More so than even other players who have had issues, his sheer workload and style of play are murder on his wrists.

The GSL set up is probably the least comfortable I've ever used at a tournament unfortunately
