Head says Cure, the clown fiesta in me says Trap edges out Reynor only to get 4-0ed by Serral in the most anti-climatic finals since Maru v Zest / Nestea v Inca... It seems you forgot about Zest vs Rogue from this year already. Which I think is even more anti-climactic given the fans were two maps away from their all time dream matchup. Seems like TL should have a feature of Zest's top 10 clown fiesta games. A lot of epic stuff from TSL recently. Yikes comment in the context of last few days.

Hello, fellow SC2 fans who realize online tournaments are not ideal, but are an acceptable and normal occurrence under current world conditions, and also realize that the online component does not significantly detract from the enjoyment of the matches

If I were a betting man I'd say Reynor 3-0.
For some reason I feel like it won't be that clear cut though, but I have nothing to back up that feeling.

Is everyone ready to see Trap beat two of the best Zergs in the world back to back in a matchup that is completely balanced and that he is is particularly strong in?
|
hmm my prediction for today is
Trap > Reynor 3 - 2 Serral > Cure 3- 2 Serral > Trap 4 - 2
Reynor has been on a roll in this tournament but Trap is miraculously going to stop him with a couple of scrappy cheeses and timing pushes.. Also I don't enjoy Serral vs Reynor as much because they have too much history and mind games. Serral has not seemed as strong as of late but he will still take down Cure with 3-2 score. Then in the grandfinals Serral will take it 4 - 1 or 4 - 2 because Trap has seemed a bit shaky in this tournament.

When did Toss last win a premier? Legend of the Fall incoming!

... It's not Fall.

The Fall is the name of the original Protoss campaign, in which 70% of the Protoss population gets exterminated by the Zerg invasion of Aiur .

Luckily this is the only PvZ of the tournament that we'll need to suffer through (other than Risky vs Neeb).

Trap already playing from behind!

Idk if this strat will work, but this is the sort of thing Trap needs to do to win.

Player cams for online matches! :o Neat

If Trap doesn't do a hidden dark shrine every single match, I will be super disappointed.
I'll accept a proxy stargate, but losing adepts is pretty bad. Also, not sure that oracle was a win at all: 6 drones, but a lot of damage on the first oracle? hmm.

I'm not too worried.
Also this is the same strat that Showtime used to beat Serral on Golden Wall.

Clearly the next move is to proxy Tempests.

Now build a nexus behind the gold minerals and flood chargelots
