Showtime and Serral only won one series between the two of them despite being invited (which means skipping the qualifiers) and seeded directly into the second round of play. If this doesn't show why invites are a terrible idea for a tournament like this, I'm not sure anything will. If you're fans of these players you'd want to actually see them play, not just exit quickly barely being able to show anything for it. At least if they had been required to qualify like everyone else, we'd have actually gotten to see more games out of them. | ||
