Not even discussing the ranking, it's subjective; however, no Taeja or MC? Meh. sOs seems pretty out of place too judging by your own standards, you value Code S so much and then give the third spot to a guy who "only" lost two finals? | ||

I don't value Code S higher than Blizzcon/IEM Katowice out of which sOs has won 3. add his other results and his Proleague performance and there's not really another player you could place above him. TaeJa and MC have no significcant Proleague results which is a huge minus already and they have won only a few (In TaeJa's case 0) tournaments where all the best players in the world competed. | ||

I mean TaeJa once ace a playoff bracket against Yughio-sOs-Life-INnovation mid 2013 (also beating Symbol and Avenge in group stage), I get that it's not a GSL with everyone but it has to count as the best in the world. Yeah he's double blizzcon champion and iem world champ, but a huge negative is that arguably even when he was winning these tournaments he was probably never the best player in the world. he just showed up and beasted some tournaments, but I don't think anyone would say he was the best player at the time. And even if you said "Ok, at that time he was the best" those times are sooo few and far between. Like 2-3 months total maybe. | ||

Classic 10. herO I'd move Mvp, Life, sOs and soO respectively to top 3-6 and put Stats and Zest at 7 and 8 respectively. I'd also put MC and Nestea at 9 and 10 respectively. Classic and herO I'd put at 11 and 12. I think Maru barely beats Inno too as best player. Edit: I swapped soO and sOs because sOs actually had a lot of silvers too. | ||

But what happens when you have to play top tier players? Taeja dumpstered him, Life dumpstered him, even Sacsri dumpstered him.His GSL wins came at a time when most of his workload was killing Terrans who only got far due to PvZ imbalance (Hi Jinro! And Terran Rain). MC was never the greatest at handing players at their best, but god knows he knew how to wipe out weaker opposition. | ||

I mean you're wrong, but I'm more interested in what "terrans who only got far due to PvZ imbalance" even means and why you think Jinro and Rain fall into that category. | ||

Muh BossToss  ‘Twas a different time and era, I have a hard time balancing innovation from execution in RTS games. MC and Nestea mapped out stuff that would eventually be incorporated into standard play and have that aspect to their legacy over a hell of a lot of other players. | ||
