yo I hope Neeb actually stays in Korea long enough to try and qualify for a GSL/SSL

I believe that's the plan. Give them a few months and I could definitely see him and Scarlett qualifying for GSL

They have to be ok with long stretches of non-improvement, Huk for example didn't improve in Korea for a long time and then suddenly got much better.

Scarlett already got better in her few months there and came within one game of making SSL. It'll happen next time

We'll see but I hope you're right. A lot of other foreigners have come really close to making it through qualifiers, it would be great if Scarlett breaks through that barrier.

Honestly Scarlett and Neeb on paper seem like some of the most likely to get through relative to those that have made it to the qualifier finals

IIRC the last foreign zerg in code s/ssl was stephano who was immediately placed in a ro32 group with inno and drg

He was seeded though. GSL qualifiers are so random at times. Sometimes you have to beat some of the best in Korea, sometimes you get 3 byes and have to cheese out Cella.

right but stephano was a 4th seed, which is why he got such a stacked group. scarlett/neeb would be 4th seed as well right?

Who knows when the next GSL/SSL is though.

January from the looks of it

well they said he is planning on staying for 6 months so he'll have just enough time to try once

honestly when I saw his picture on the first page of this thread, I thought it was polt at first, but he doesn't look nearly as similar by comparison in real life

Neeb's 6-1 over ByuN (and combined 9-3 over Hydra) kinda broke his aligulac rating

A few misplays by Neeb, but still more than good enough that game. This should be a quick series
